Well guys, it's time. In just a few hours, our long-awaited journey will begin. I wish everyone in the GTPlanet family to have fun with another game in the Gran Turismo series.

Probably a ****ton of pixels and frames, as Imgflip maxes out at 360p and 20fps...

... but look to the outside of the track.

I honestly though the GTO will glitch to the outer space or something I definitely wasn't expecting that

No, my broke ass does not want to pay the first-party playstation developer that will probably break even within the first week of the game’s launch anyways.

I paid 70 bucks for the game as I did for GT Sport which got free updates. PD is supported by Sony who can afford to bankroll a game that loses money, like Bloodborne, as long as it moves systems. I don't see why I should want them to monetize further with paid car packs when it's never been a thing or a problem in other PD games.

It's funny,gt campaigns by nature makes you think about the money you're spending.
But add some real currency anf they totally look tailor made for MTX.An unhappy accident i guess.

Well, I am happy I could help you see why Microtransactions are in, they work. For every 10 people complaining about them online, there is 1 guys spending regularly on MTs. The money has spoken, its just that like me, you do not like what it had to say

Yeah, you're right. Man, what ever was I thinking trying to stand up to Sony via GT7? Guess I'm going to have to accept the fact that MTs in GT are here to stay, knowing full well they will become addictive at some point with the dev making them more expensive. Ugh I'm such a idiot. Guess we'll leave it at that. 🤷‍♂️

It was a thing back when PD sold packs back in the day with GT5. Heck, they even sold re-purchasable paint chips, which could've stir up PROBLEMS onward had we not criticized them for it. Thus making them purchasable in GT6 via in game credits and still with GT7.

it's never been a thing or a problem in other PD games.

If I recall, paid DLC was a thing in GT5. And I think PD learned a lesson with that hence why GT6/GTS DLC was free.

Absurd pricing. If this was the other game people here would be slaughtering them but as usual GT seems to get a free pass. MTs are fine now apparently.

Could it be the real reason why they force us with online save only? Because if you stand on Sony's point of view, giving yourself credits by cheating is a financial miss to win for them.. Cynical.

I'm at work. Took my Aussie citizenship test yesterday and passed. Played GT til three in the mornin'. My wife and daughter know what time it is when I get home. Fo sho!!!

I'm curious if you can disconnect the internet or turn off your PS to change the outcome of the prize or is it predetermined like GTS

I’ve done the same. I’ve been trying to avoid the intro as much as I can, however VVV had it on his video so I caught some of it and had to skip quickly past.

If you’re in the UK and want a physical copy right now Asda are selling them over the counter I bought mine earlier. BTW do liveries transfer automatically from Sport or do I need to make them public first?

I'm going thru the Beyond the Apex guide while waiting and I'm bafled how insanely PD explains everything about driving.

What's even more ridiculous is that they inform players how to properly sit in a driving seat so they sit in a healthy physiological position (there's some really important stuff too, though!)

It's been said that you'll need to make your liveries public first in order for them to appear in GT7.

I made my liveries public/open to all before the cut off date. Have not seen my liveries on my page.

Afaik you need to get the car you want to have the livery from GTS retrieved for to the livery creator and it'll ask you if you want to load them. Haven't gotten my hands on the game yet tho, so I couldn't check if that's really the way to go.

I have the Demio. However, it's blue. I think I might need to paint it white to apply the livery, but still, the livery isn't visible.
