SIE bought Firesprite last September, the heir to Studio Liverpool which is now bigger than ever and has 3 games in development (4 if we count their collaboration on Star Citizen).
A new wipeout is rumored to be in development by Lucid.

Sony made a lof of dumb moves last gen . They purchased media molecule and they havent made a real game since Tearaway ( fantastic game ). But shut down Evo Studios , Eat sleep play , and almost all support studios for Sony Santa monica.
 
Guys what am I doing wrong: Ill admit im not some master tuner. I go to the shop and just buy stuff that gets my PP to the desired level. However, especially for rear wheel drive cars, they become almost impossible to keep on the road...press gass and the car spins, wheel spin for ages until it gets into gear etc. Its literally easier for me to just get a new car that has almost the exact amount of PP needed.

So why are my setups not drivable if everything is in the green and yes I do put on sports tires as well.

I’m secretly waiting for reddit to change on a dime the moment the servers are back online. I don’t know why but I love seeing us humans change our minds so quickly.

Yes , It is so Karen to use the collective force of the gaming community to out predatory MTX and graphics downgrades on a 70$ game.
Why did Sony shut down Evo Studios. They should have shut down PD and given Evo Granturismo. Evo improved the graphics of drive club , evo fixed glitches , evo listened to us and talked to us . Evo got lynched because the servers were not working for a week.. In a game that is fully playable offline.. GT is not fully playable offline , PD has made the game worse with patches so far , PD won't talk to us . Yes bro , super karen . I hope some mechanic puts the wrong oil in your car and blows the engine , and when you dare complain about it and say you may sue or call the local radio station when they make the situation worse , I'm going to call you a karen .

Dirt 5 was developed by former Evo studios and it is one of the most boring games ive played in 2020. PD is not perfect but GT7 with all of its big gaping issues are still much more fun than the borefest that game is, so no.

It helps a lot if you go into the Tuning Settings and drive/adjust the car to work with your new parts.

Generally realistic. People also generally don't want to be bothered with that stuff.

RWD physics got excessively demanding, even in comparison to a sim like Assetto. I think PD will at some point ease them.

I fixed my 900HP Camaro. I will post my settings once the game is back online. 😀

Given they shut down Studio Liverpool and killed off WipEout after WipEout HD:Fury was a best seller on PSN, Sony definitely does not care about player numbers or sales.

They do for Gran Turismo! Do you know how often they bragged about player numbers in GT Sport? They haven't even released actual sales data since the beginning for Sport. Sales was estimated by the number of player profiles created
 
I couldn't care less about Fisherman's Ranch race, what about that SSRX race? That was always my go to in the morning since it paid decent for the low effort and was an easy way to get credits while grinding out your daily ticket. Now that's nerf'd too for no good damn reason other than than to push MTXs. :mad:

Are we seriously implying that PD will never listen to fan feedback now and that GT7 is doomed forever? Good heavens i get the frustration today but some of the statements made here today are on another level

I mean it's based on PD's history and track record? I also listed some of the issues that went unchecked to you previously regarding what you said for the fan feedback.

That might be true, but Bungie makes sure there's actual depth to the content and most MTX stuff is restricted to cosmetic stuff like ornaments, emotes, ships, ghost shells, transmat effects and projections.

Other than Gjallahorn, there's no weapons you can say are pay-to-win like Gran Turismo is in it's current state and even then, you're never guaranteed to get heavy ammo for Gjallahorn.

I said this before but here's what Destiny 2 has included if you got Witch Queen and/or Beyond Light:

  • Single player campaigns + Forsaken campaign before that was vaulted.
  • 600 weapons (ok sure, half are sunsetted) + 42 new ones in Beyond Light + 43 new ones in Witch Queen
  • PVP contains 5 different Crucible variations, Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris and Gambit
  • PVE/co-op contains Vanguard Ops, Nightfalls, Grand Master Nightfalls, Psi Ops, Wellspring and Dares Of Eternity
  • Endgame content raids: Last Wish, Garden of Salvation, Vault of Glass, Deep Stone Crypt, Vow of Disciple + rumoured Kings Fall Raid next season.

GT7 doesn't have anywhere near enough content to warrant an MTX structure of this nature, it's just a cynical cut & paste of GTA Online, sure, it's a "free" update, you're going to have to be on the game 24/7 if you want any of that content without buying MTX.


Also, I've uninstalled this pile of crap and emailed PSN for a refund.
