Because he said he didn't want to play the game for "thousands of hours." If you don't like the game that much then don't play it that much. I'm sure I will eventually have nearly every car in the game and I don't "grind." If it felt like a job I wouldn't play. I enjoy every lap because it's a fun game to play.

I really doubt you’ll ever have nearly every car if you don’t think it’s a grind. Something has to change if players are to accomplish the goal of collecting all cars without resorting to a mechanical grind, as Kaz puts it.

I think the exact opposite tbh, if you start braking when the icon starts flashing you're gonna be slowed up way early to where you sometimes need to pop the throttle a little to get you to the turn in point.
This has been my experience as well in most cases. There are instances where it is just right or too late as well, but predominantly way too early.

~$2M average hourly pay out per race win(I'm sure this has been suggested before). Should get people all the current cars within ~250 hours(I personally think that's probably a bit too quick). Get to it, Kaz.

Stratos notoriously has that sound. It's not the game, it's simply not a great sounding car... Love it thou

Go check out actual sounds on YouTube. It doesn't sound right at all, it doesn't sound like a V6 even. Still a good buy though, I'll try different exhausts later on.

Has anyone driven the '71 CSL completely stock with stock tires and just racing suspension? It's either bugged or the preset setup is wrong! The car is undriveable.. As soon as i removed the suspension it drove nicely 🤔

From this state, does the car return to full power after an oil change?
Yes sir. Full power like it's all new! I think we can do this ad infinitum. I don't think doing multiple times or even with engine and chassi wear we can get to a point where changing the oil is not enough to get back to full power. But only way to find out is by driving more so... let's see how much I can abuse this Corvette :P

A hint...

Don't wait until the last day of the invitation's expiration date to make the purchase.

My last day to buy the Ferraris would be today, 23rd. But today you can't buy it anymore.

Lucky for me, because I bought it yesterday. :scared:

Yep i just tried the Mangusta and like the CSL was sliding by itself with the slightest input! I removed the racing suspension and it drives just fine 😒
Does it come with racing suspension or did you add it yourself?

Racing suspensions are meant to be adjustable, so the initial settings they're applied with are probably never ideal and will in some cases be pretty bad.

I put it but i do that to every car! Never had this problem before!! Idk 😃

Does anyone else think that the braking warning in the gears area is useless?
It always says "brake" when it's too late to brake, you have to do it when it's bright red.
I miss the double cone...
I find it varies along with the cars handling 😂. It’s maybe just my poor driving, but I feel like I’m braking at the same reference point lap after lap, but get varying braking performance! Sometimes I have to re engage the throttle to get to the apex and others I can’t even stay on the track! 😂

Appologies if already asked but are we able to race against our quicker ghosts in time trial?Ive just started dabbling with time trials,i can see an option to save best lap replay but cant see an option to reload it,my previous times stay on the board but no previous ghosts?

If nothing changes, I'm investing my money in a PC where I can drive that car for free in multiple simulators, whether it be through mods or core content.
For pure modding, the original Assetto Corsa is still alive and well. The mod community never fails to impress there. I'd recommend Rfactor 1 but most people don't like the dated graphics and user interface. Plus last I checked the mods were scattered all over the place more than AC

I know all about them. My Steam library is full of simulators and I have an entire TB worth of mods for various games that are awaiting a PC build.

60% of those mods are for Assetto Corsa lol

Funny thing is you don't even need PC. Kaz has competition on PS5 too. PC is the best but switch to another games is easy.

Honestly AC is the best sim to happen to sim racing. It's so moddable and accessable. I had a bit of fun racing online with a mod too Sim racing system I think it was

The only other games I'm heavily invested in on console are ProjectCARS 2 and Dirt Rally 2.0.

I can't play either because a launch edition PS4 outputting to an 85" TV turns the game into jello.

Driving the Aegentinian stages on Dirt Rally 2.0 on that TV is like watching an onboard camera from the 90s.

Instant migraine four corners into a stage lol

And funnily enough I also have these games in my Steam library so 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

The only game I'll miss is Spiderman.

So moddable, I can control the infotainment screen in modern cars in AC. Have you ever been able to play a YouTube or Spotify playlist from the car's system in-game on console??

I can literally simulate a late night drive in my city with traffic. All the fun with none of the consequences, like fuel, and speeding.
