And as I said in my last paragraph, that should not be used as an excuse. It's a new game, they should have learned from their content updates on their last game, but they didn't.As was told milion times. First GT Sport update was also "small" just wait for another one. I am pretty sure we will see better updates in may.
I would much rather prefer QoL updates than content updates in the early stages, especially for a game as buggy and broken as GT7.Yeah, I'm not gonna defend this. It's pretty underwhelming for an update.
I mean, I like the cars shown, but 3 isn't enough. It should have been 5 at least. For Spa, the 24 hr layout is about the same as what we have now. If it was the 60s or 80s layout, then it would be interesting. But no, it's just a pit lane change with a new starting line location.
While I'm aware that GT Sport's 1st content update started like this, I still don't think that should be used as an excuse.
New content must be made. I think this is to early to criticize the quality of updates. If next update will be this small then we should start worrying. And as I said in my last paragraph, that should not be used as an excuse. This. Which game did deliver a super huge update one month after being released? And we're still getting free cars though, Polyphony could instead lock them behind a pay-wall with ease. (Well, of course that action would have a lot of negative backlash from us)New content must be made. I think this is to early to criticize the quality of updates. It’s resolved, but yep, that was me.Well I'm a bit puzzled because I've seen a screenshot of someone going down to Eau Rouge with 3 seconds of the lap done in a race, but in time trial it's definitely just the regular start line, so it could just been that the races start from the 24h line and time trials start from the F1 line.
Weird.

On your GT7 page. Go to "My page", and then "Gallery". From there you can download your pics at full res.How do you access it?

I just did it, had a few bumps (AI loitering on the apexes as usual) and an off-circuit penalty (spoiler: it rains in the night. A Lot.) Still got the 1.5 million so CRB intact.Something positive - we now have a $1.000.000 race AND it´s at SPA - pretty cool!
Has anybody checked if the clean race bonus is busted again? As in do you get it no matter what?
That would be pretty sweet.
Might as well start worrying now, because expecting more than what we have gotten so far feels like asking for disappointment. For now we can just hope.New content must be made. Very cool - thank youI just did it, had a few bumps (AI loitering on the apexes as usual) and an off-circuit penalty (spoiler: it rains in the night. A Lot.) Still got the 1.5 million so CRB intact.
I think these additional races aren’t ‘broken’, just that if the in-race penalty system is enabled then the CRB seems to be automatically awarded anyway...
A great 1 hr race, by the way. We need more of this. SOON.
That’s a good point. Maybe PD think penalties are punishment enough! 😂I just did it, had a few bumps (AI loitering on the apexes as usual) and an off-circuit penalty (spoiler: it rains in the night. A Lot.) Still got the 1.5 million so CRB intact.

It has almost quarter of a century on those older GT500 cars, in the real world current GT3 cars are pretty much at the same lap times as the last GT1 cars (MC12, DBR9, etc) were. It's quite impressive how things have moved on.Drove that Subaru BRZ GT300 and I'm amused to see how fast it is, even beating out the two GT500's in the Gr. 3 class in terms of speed and track performance.
This comparison was made with the cars completely stock, with no tuning whatsoever, and the Racing: Hard tires they came with.
Nurburgring lap times:
Subaru BRZ GT300 '21: 6:31.274
Toyota Supra GT500 '97: 6:33.476
Nissan GT-R GT500 '99: 6:37.809
Top speed:
Subaru BRZ GT300 '21: 292km/h
Nissan GT-R GT500 '99: 289km/h
Toyota Supra GT500 '97: 289km/h
*NOTE: Top speeds were tested at Special Stage Route X, and were determined by their speed towards the wind.
That's excellent news, it's the little changes like these that make GT7 even better. We have the option for tire wear fuel depletion and grip reduction for time trials. This is a big plus for me at least lol.. had to do a lot of testing online only because the options were only available online. Now I can tune and watch the replays in TT mode!
I might sound optimistic. But month isn't over yet. I guess it is the last update this month, but who knows? Maybe they will surprise us with friday update? So the "layouts" promised was just a lie. The cars are a disappointment. 3 new races when the game needs far more. Custom races still pay pennies.
2 months in.
I'd be absolutely shocked if they do. There's no reason to do 2 updates in a week when there's plenty of content ready to be dropped for the first update if they felt like it.I might sound optimistic. But month isn't over yet.
