2 months in is still very early to me.
Custom race payouts do not take this long to increase. Races do not take this long to make.

I'm okay with not having much for new cars or layouts (though, don't lie about it as they did). But the fact that there's still so many races they already have available that they aren't giving us is unacceptable to me.

Anyone else having issues with the Mypage site? Since maintenance this morning, all I get when viewing from my phone is this:

View attachment 1142342

Regardless of what I try to access through the menus, this is all I get. Tried closing down the page and restarting the phone, no change... Android phone and Google Chrome...
And still no progress on this. ☹️ All I want to do is search for a decal... 👎

Finished the $1.000.000 Spa race. Can confirm that you get the clean race bonus no matter what.

Overall not a very fun race.

IMO it exposes the probems GT7 has with weather physics. It all feels really random.

I´ll stick to le mans for grinding.

Is anyone familiar with the trophies for this game? I just got " Going The Distance Together: The Atlantic " totally on my own while doing circuit experiences. Online guides say that it must be done only in online lobbies with other players? So im not sure if its bugged or if the online guide was wrong.

I just did it, had a few bumps (AI loitering on the apexes as usual) and an off-circuit penalty (spoiler: it rains in the night. A Lot.) Still got the 1.5 million so CRB intact.

I think these additional races aren’t ‘broken’, just that if the in-race penalty system is enabled then the CRB seems to be automatically awarded anyway...

A great 1 hr race, by the way. We need more of this. SOON.
At Le Mans I've only lost the CRB once and that was when I went full on into the side of a car that had gone off and spun sideways back on. No amount of crashing off anywhere on the track in the rain has lost me it so I think you have to really hit an AI car to lose it on these longer races.

The only thing I’ve found that loses the CRB on these is passing (even a lapped car) during a yellow flag. I’ve tried full force punting every AI at the start in the Tomahawk as a test for contact and still got it. Was there a yellow flag in the situation you described?

I also got it driving alone ages ago, and the final distance trophy (Autobahn I think?) the other day. I believe it's the total distance of you driving solo, plus you driving online with people and the mileage everyone else in that online session did while you were online together... so if you'd done just one sport mode race, it would be your solo driving plus your mileage in that sport mode race, plus the mileage of everyone else in that sport mode race (so race distance x15 or whatever). That's at least how I understand it, whether that's actually what's happening/being measured is a different question entirely, and of course there's plenty of room in that method of measuring for glitching to occur.

That’s a good point. Maybe PD think penalties are punishment enough! 😂

Yes, now I've had a think of it. I did pass a car when the yellow came out but I got a penalty for that so I assumed hitting the car that went off was the cause.

Welp, I can still basically use my detuned Mclaren F1 GTR to stomp on GT3 cars with the Spa endurance race. It can be a new, fun location to grind on as I do enjoy Spa. I think it became one of the tracks I drive my cars the most on.

Not really sure where to put this as it's just an observation. I'm a bit perplexed that online lobby miles do not count towards your daily mileage count at all. The miles add on to the odometer for your cars don't they? Why shouldn't they add on to your daily mileage? I do a lot of laps around the ring etc online, not racing just hot lapping..

Online races do count, but you're right, if your odometer goes up then... you should get it.

Am genuinely surprised those Fallon events haven't shown up. I'm not sure what they're waiting for at this point?

For two months we've had people waiting (vocally) for offline races to use any car faster than 800pp - we know they existed in the game, and yet they're just trickle feeding us more events with the same restrictions. It cant be hard to add events as it is.. let alone ones that you know, already are made.

The best explanation I can possibly come up with is that PP system changes might require them to go through the races to make sure they're still decently balanced, so they're waiting until the PP system is in a good state to add more races.

So basically, a result of us being the beta testers.

They're saving those for the big GT7 2.0 announcement in January 2024, which besides the legendary 2024 BRZ, will also add premium online-lobby functionalities, like the ability to change the track, WOW!

Yeah, I've got the inside scoop. 😎

My bet was that it has something to do with them being attached to the supposed cut menu books, but at this point I think 90% of people would rather have them cut their losses with the café and add the events without the attached books so there's actually something to do with the cars.

It's not exactly like the café was met with resounding praise, anyway, and with it having been this long since launch, I bet the whole "collect to progress" thing wont work as well for the people who have been playing since the game came out.

The cafe was an extended tutorial so I don't really know how they can keep it interesting anyway. It should just be optional from now on.

I did notice the new low value events at Spa 24h had the talking heads chatting like they did at the races you had to do for the cafe menus... the only races so far that have done that without having menus attached. Interesting/weird.

Yeah, unless there's something major/technical preventing them from arriving, the lack of those supposed rumoured menus and events for higher group and more diverse cars is frustrating. How hard would it be really to add things like some Gr2 and Gr1 races, VGT races, one make races (Roadster Cup, Clio Cup, 86/BRZ Cup, etc.), kei car series, etc etc.? These are things that really should've been there at launch.

An event I would like to see in the future is an unlimited oval event with super fast cars, like the Mega Speed Cup.

In the past GTs up to GT6, there were always these unlimited, super fast, and easy money style oval events.
Of course I understand that these events go against what Kaz said during the recent credit nerf.
But these style events are sort of a tradition, and a rare opportunity for top speed monsters like Pikes Peak Escudo and the HKS Drag series to show what they can do.

Of course, it is possible to hold such an event using custom racing, but I would like it to be an official event, giving machines like Tomahawk a chance to showcase their capabilities.

When I tell you TT mode is so much better now better than ever.. to be able to change all the option on the fly, to have tire wear fuel and real grip is a game changer. You add how you can get some dynamic time changes also and the tracks become alive! I’m really enjoying the game right now even with the small update the game has gotten better!
