Genuinely curious as to when Fuji Speedway will get updated to include the new hotel outside the final corner.
I’m more curious about Interlagos. All the paddock buildings we have in GT7 were demolished a few years ago and rebuilt to a modern standard.

tbh I can't see Interlagos getting updated like that. Fuji basically being Toyota's baby and not too far from PD HQ though...

Quite a few real world tracks need upgrading, some just visually outside the track, some the layouts or runoffs/gravel traps. I doubt we'll see any in GT7, it's just not going to be worth their time I'd think.
Fuji is a bit different though. Toyota owns the track, and with their relationship with PD I can definitely see them paying to have it updated to represent it as it sits with the hotel.

Well sure, if Toyota want to throw more money at them it would probably happen, but otherwise not.

Gunsai Touge is such a beautiful and an enjoyable track! The mod on Assetto Corsa is awesome, I wish PD would add it if they had enough time on their hands to actually include a track that's not made for actual racing cars.
Like I've said before, it's so strange that GT has never featured a Japanese mountain stage in any shape or form. It is desperately needed for sure.

It's a shame that so many people are negative about content updates. When the game economy got nerfed that at least made sense to be annoyed at.
As far as I know the latest update hasn't removed anything (besides some bugs and such of course), and the stuff it's given us is completely free too. If this was almost any other racing franchise we'd likely have to pay for each car as DLC.
Perhaps the life cycle of GT Sport has spoilt some of us into taking the updates we had for granted. Just remember that this is only the beginning.
The reason people are negative about it is that the game released with not nearly enough content, and we know there's more ready to be released whenever PD feels like it, but they instead drip feed at this absurdly slow rate. 3 events per month is dreadful.

The color in-game is inaccurate. I took snaps with scapes of the sapphire blue, looked at them on different screens. ^^ that's what it looks like in the flesh. Glossier, darker and purplish.

It could be much worse, referring to the current state GTA Online is in since the PS5 edition released, it has a handful of vehicles added on the launch day but nothing since other than 'recycling' old content most of us players got on the PS4.

Drip feed is nothing new in games but the worst example of this is R* and GTA Online. PD are nowhere near at this level yet.

Ovevrall I can live with the game as is, there are many things I can do now of my own creation that were not possible before and now at least I have the updated Subaru BRZ so I can do my utlimate 86 vs BRZ custom race (once I've made all the liveries of course)

Manu cup is thrilling.
Figured the latest update would have prevented the clown fiesta that we had in that Gr4 Nurburgring race near launch, but nope - the best way to go fast is still to buy a turbo for your car and gimp the final gears. Should just prevent purchased turbos from entering the race.

Set a mid 1:31 before deciding to see if it was fixed - immediately set a 1:28.2 without even being able to go above 5th gear (in the McLaren, so 7 gears)

Did they fix the bug where KM/H would appear in car settings rather than MPH?
You know, for the people with Miles selected.

It depends on the circumstances of the environment, though. Here's an official 3D render from Subaru Japan:

And here's GT7:

They're very similar, although the base color from GT7 is a little bit more blue-ish.

Jesus Christ, this thread has more whine than a cellar. I almost sympathize with 343 Industries when they criticized the pedantism of the Halo community over a misaligned skin. Emphasis on "almost", because Halo Infinite deserves being shat on anyway.

I've even seen the state of GT7 being called "insulting". You know what's "insulting"? Taxes. Poverty. Bureaucracy. Inflation. State corruption. Fake news regarding Covid vaccination. Not an update to a video game that, for better or worse, added 3 cars, a new endurance event and completely revamped the physics.

I think our mistake when we relate to these products (video games, yes, but also movies and other ****) is thinking that we matter. In truth, we don't. It's like Kimi Raikkonen says, "my opinion doesn't matter, I don't make the rules". Once you realize this, it's difficult to feel "insulted" by this stuff unless you have other issues.

The only thing remotely "insulting" in GT7 are the roulettes, but I can live without a Porsche-powered Beetle, even though I'd love to own one. The rest ranges from excellent to terrible, as with most games not called Battlefield 2042.

Yes we do. GT is a product and we are customers. Your customers always matter.

Physics changed a lot, i don't know if i like it, do you think is more realistic now or before?
Dunno how it was before, but I think something is not right with ABS, TCS and rain physics.

Is ABS not simulated at all? It feels so tbh.

I notice a difference between TCS 0 and 1, but 1 to 5? Barely if at all.

Are rain physics serioulsy random overall? Using ACC as a reference here I find everything relating to rain in GT7 completely unpredictable.

Yeah, i don't like it anymore, before the car felt alive, to easy to lose the tail, but now is just too grippy, i'm very upset, before driving was very nice, now it feels arcade.

The new SPA 24h race is one of the best and most beautiful race i have experienced in a long time. It was like a real race and everything was soo good from day to night cycle, weather changes, the cars and the strategical battle. I would love more of these on other tracks also.
