Yeah, being over 50 I actually had to look that up🤣. I think I'm actually more depressed that some 12 year old might call a team Suck My D*** Racing than I am about the censorship!
They wouldn't call their team that, they'd just use it towards someone that say, intentionally wrecked them.

It depends on the circumstances of the environment, though. Here's an official 3D render from Subaru Japan:

Their renders are also a bit off. The picture I posted was taken last night at the dealer. Renders make it less glossy than it is. WR blue is also a little lighter than the real car.

I'm only pointing this out because I was surprised GT got it wrong, and in case someone buys the car blindly based on GT7. Due to shortage you'll have to pay a non-refundable deposit and hope the car is as good as you'd hope. No demos or test drive cars available. At least in my region.

If you think that's bad go look at Laguna Seca Blue on the E46.

Gran Turismo has never once got that colour right. It was some weird light turquoise blue in GT4 and now it's way too dark, with none of the green hints or bright blue highlights.

Owning the 1:18 model and the M Brochure from the time, it's painful to see how far off the mark they always get it.

Yes sadly
Not so sad for drifters and dragsters. RWD cars actually have traction now without the need of TCS, as it should be.

Several of my friends that drift on both console and the PC version of Assetto Corsa have said the latest update is more akin to the console drifting of Assetto Corsa, which to me, is a step in the right direction.

The clutch is also immensely superior to any previous iterations of GT games.

It will only get better from here. 👍🏻👍🏻

Vrr is now available on ps5. Checked on lg cx few games outside of compatible list like elden ring, acc, ride 4 and vrr works there, unfortunetly it doesn't work in gt7.

You should be able to force it on non compatible games. At least that's what the patch notes said.

Who's right?

If you drive ACC like we did in Sport you would crash easy trust me I went through that In ACC you kinda need TCS… you could drive without it don’t get me wrong, but I wouldn’t be shocked if someone flew off track or spun out… the cars were a handful without them. GT7 before patch gave me that ACC sensation.. where I could race with it tcs off but then I would spin which would kill my race.

I just learned that for some reason only known to PD, buying a new body won't remove a wide body. From my viewpoint, buying a new body is a feature that's supposed to undo changes to the car that can't be undone otherwise, so that seems like a really, really stupid design choice to me. Thankfully it only concerned a Mini in my case, so I didn't end up wasting a ton of credits and could simply buy another one from the used car dealership. Had I done it to one of the more expensive legendary cars I would've been in for one hell of a rude awakening.
I don't know why people are complaining about this when the game very clearly says that you can't undo a widebody modification.

This isn't a very well thought-out post. The game also says that you can't undo weight reduction measures and various of the tuning jobs you can do to the engine, yet a new body or engine respectively will revert all of those things to the car's factory specifications. This makes perfect sense, as you are chucking away the modified component completely and replacing it with a factory-fresh one. Mini does not ship the body for a 1965 Cooper S with a wide body modification as standard, therefore it makes no sense whatsoever that the wide body mod is still there after replacing the entire body of the car.

I know it sounds contradictory but that's how it is.

As I said, the credits I spent on the new body for the Mini were completely wasted because the game failed to deliver on the completely reasonable expectation that this would undo the wide body mod. Considering that you can - depending on the car - spend millions of Credits on this purchase, telling people not to complain about such an obvious logic error is questionable to say the least.

OK perhaps it is stupid but I can't control the decisions that are made by the developers. If it explicitly says that you cannot undo a widebody modification, you cannot undo it. Buying a new body will not change that.

Now, why would you even say this? Who on earth is putting any of the responsibility for this on you? Nobody told you to defend any of this, you just typed out a rash statement without pausing and reflecting for a moment. That is my biggest gripe with social media these days. People just blurting out haphazard one liners without taking even a second to think about what they're actually saying, derailing or shutting down completely legitimate debates in the process. I'm not telling you to do something about it, I'm only asking you not to make counterproductive statements when people are voicing constructive complaints. Rant over.

Well, now we're just going in circles.

If it gave you the ACC sensation pre-patch then you were playing a different game. It's closer with the patched physics simply because the cars can be pushed harder before they snap. And now when they do snap, it's possible to catch them, like in ACC.

It's still a long way off ACC, but it's not aiming for that. It's meant to be slightly more casual with a hint of sim focus.

Also, TC is basically a requirement of GT3 cars, as is ABS, likewise in DTM. They initially pushed for TC and ABS to get dropped but entire braking systems would have to be redesigned, cars like the M6 would have been instantly uncompetitive (front heavy) and standing starts would have been absolutely terrible.

Do any of you ever got a 4 star ticket with ALL the rewards are cars?

I just got one and the roulette stops at the 86 GT sadly.
Yes 😡 I haven't seen an engine in a 4 star ticket since they changed the system until today but still didn't get it 😒
