So, i really have to say:
Like making liveries, i can also not be bothered with tuning. Yeah, buying parts is fun, but fiddling with setting is not for me. I don't care learning what's what and what works.
Like using other peoples liveries (which is great, you guys are artists!) it would be super cool to use other peoples tunes the same way, because making screenshots on my phone and then trying to do the same thing just blows.
Kaz said he would not want it any other way because he wants people to learn and fiddle thereselfs.
I think this is bs. First: for many of us it's the opposite of fun, a real pain and many cars are really bad on standard setting. Second: i don't believe him, that this is the reason for not getting to copy others tunes in the game. I think it got to complicated and they ran into problems because if you would be able to copy, not only it would be a problem if you already bought a permanent upgrade like a weight reduction that is not part of the copied tune, also liveries with spoilers and widebodie could get in the way of getting other peoples setting.
I still hope such a feature comes in the future, at least with GT8.
And yeah, i get that others have the real work and do all the fiddling for me (thank you, ladies and gentlemen!), but i guess they enjoy it. Setting up 100 cars with screenshots on my phone still takes a lot of unneccesary time, that i will never get back and i hate it.
And i guess it's even worse for casuals, who don't use gtplanet ir reddit... They just won't enjoy these creations.

lets hope its just another thing they left out for this beta test

I'd wager the "last week of the month" stems from the first of the 28 day gaps being at the end of the month - therefore making the rest of them end up there too.

Except there were 31 days between April 25th and May 26th. Pretty sure they're going on the weeks, not any specific days between.

This is my favourite race, because you genuinely don't know what you're going to get. Like you, if I have time, it's my daily race. I've started trying a wider variety of car recently. Latest stupid idea was the Merc SLR because I'd got the Stage 5 weight reduction on the Carousel of Cr@p. Very fast, but literally twice the braking distance of the Gr4 cars!

I did a 60 minute custom race last night at Watkins Glen, with the weather set to become partly cloudy over time, and the time advance set to x8. (start in the "afternoon" time slot) It's hard to describe how epic it was as the clouds rolled in and the sun went down. 😍

It's funny because I do feel like all they need to do is bring back the GT League events, but reduce the rolling start and use a faster AI preset. That's it. So many peoples qualms would be gone, instantly.
We know there's AI presets, and the fastest of these really aren't that slow - when they aren't being rubberbanded to hell and back it can be hard to keep up with them (see the endurances). Use that, and use AI that aren't halfway across the track, and voila, you have competitive races for everyone that don't use the awful system literally everyone has hated since GT5. Sure, the AI won't be that smart, but they can be somewhat quick, which imo is the main thing.

.There is no focus in GT7, events are fragmented into several menus with most of them one time only- with the effort that went into creating them its just a waste.Similar threads
