But you will get a PS5 and then pay for GT7 again XD
Right now I don't plan on upgrading my PC nor buying PS5. I usually stick to some genre or game for a long time, I don't buy all new titles (eg. I don't play in games like Dark Souls). I have a lot of games that I haven't launched so I will rather try to finish them.

Especially in current economy 🤣 and with the incoming increase of the electricity prices.

True. Maybe you are a patient gamer... but even my PS4 seems to be getting old with updates, laggy menus!!. Maybe you sell Ps4 later and buy PS5? Still need subscription to play either online but PS5 also comes with more games I think in the catalogue. Plus dualsense is more comfortable controller

I forgot to mention I'd given it slotted disc racing brakes and racing brake pads, I thought the carbon brakes were just the same but prettier?
I felt the difference with the brakes on the Capuccino. Made the car more stable applying brakes from high speeds, rather than gradually slowing down on racing brembos.

Really ? Guess I have to give this a try.

I just drove the new Maserati and it was an absolute blast.
Haven't drive that one. Actually I haven't drive any of the stock cars, maybe it's my tunes that needs adjustment.

Also, can’t remember which classic I applied them to(might have discarded the car), but I do remember trying it out after someone said the carbon brakes didn’t do anything. Now, I don’t know what car that other member tried. Could have been a sports car with carbon discs as standard, the member wasn’t aware of. Ferrari? Porsche? Hence, why here may have been no difference.

I got my prize for the Extra Menu featuring the Nissan Silvia last night, and I won a special part for the GT by Citroen road car. But nevermind that - I had no idea that the S15 apparently came stock with a boost gauge! I only realized it when they were talking about the history of the Silvia and I spotted one within the interior.

EDIT: And even though I do have an engine from the Rampage Camaro, I think that instead of putting it into either of the currently eligible cars, I’m gonna hold onto it and see what other car(s) become compatible. I’d put it into the DeLorean S2, but I also have a Stroke Up S for that car.

I also have three Stroke Up S parts for the NSX Type R ‘02, so hopefully the engine from that car will become swappable. Otherwise, I only really want/need one of these…

Why can't we have these cars? I really don't understand and of course make them all race in an endurance event in GT7. Just look how beauitful they are

What do you mean? You can create more than half the field here with a livery editor.

Still...updated GT3, GT4, TCR, Porsche 991 cup, newer BMW road-going cars and etc

In my opinion PD can get some data of such races. Hence sponsorship makes a bit of sense I would say, no?

Interesting point about the data. Not sure, to be honest.

The data ine for the M2 Competition is hopefully a sign it’s coming. Some of the other cars like the Scirocco and E46 M3 we have. We also had The 330i(blue/white/yellow car on the right hand side) in previous GTs. Another four-door sedan would be nice. Definitely neeed updated hatchbacks if we’re not getting the full on TCR cars.

It is funny with some of the licensing. The Sting Ray and M4 were, I’d say, premiere cars in GT6. Now, we have to nearly beg for the C8 and current M4(and all current M cars at that).

Hermen Hulst was at Team Asobi a few days ago in Tokyo. So now we can say for certain he’s in Japan and been touring 1st Party studios.

I think Kaz secretly hates the C8 at this point. Should've been a day one car but instead we got another C7. At least the C1 was in the datamine. Can't wait to finally get a '50s American car.
If that the case he must hate some other cars too. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I mean I wouldn't count the C8 out just yet, since the Volkswagen IDR came out.

But PD being PD, we'd get the road car, and then the race car whenever GT8 comes out, and it'll probably be the old GTLM variant, too.

Statistics: With the addition of the GT-R NISMO GT3 '18, Nissan becomes the 3rd manufacturer with four Gr.3 cars, currently the most of them all (although coincidentally all three have cars that could find themselves into the crossfire of the "dupe" discourse).

BMW
BMW M3 GT2 '11 (GT Sport 1.28)
BMW Z4 GT3 '11 (GT Sport launch)
BMW M6 GT3 Endurance Model '16 (GT Sport launch)
BMW M6 GT3 Sprint Model '16 (GT Sport launch)

Ford
Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II (GT7 launch)
Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car (GT Sport 1.23)
Ford Mustang Gr.3 (GT Sport launch)
Ford GT Race Car '18 (GT7 launch)

Nissan
Nissan Skyline Silhouette Group 5 '84 (GT7 1.19)
Nissan GT-R GT500 '99 (GT7 launch)
Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '13 (GT Sport launch)
Nissan GT-R NSIMO GT3 '18 (GT7 1.25)

Trailing behind them is Toyota, which has the Supra GT500 '97, FT-1 VGT Gr.3, and GR Supra RC. Toyota is also one of the only four manufacturers with multiple Gr.4 cars (86 Gr.4 and GR Supra N24), the other being Renault (Megane Gr.4 and Megane Trophy), Alfa Romeo (4C Gr.4 and 155 V6 TI), and Nissan (GT-R Gr.4 and S15 TC).

To add, there are now a total of 16 different GT-R models & variations. The next models in a family, are the Corvette at 11 models & variations and 911, at 9 different generations.

Hey guys

Guys listen

Guys, what if

There was a MUSIC-focused update?!

And there could be additional content for not just music rally, but more music tracks being added to various menus and for when you're racing? I always found GT7's soundtrack to be comparatively weak, especially compared to its immediate predecessor, so I'd be real grateful for some additional music. Especially with how they could get music through Sony...

EDIT: I've also taken some notes on Extra Menus, and what cars can hypothetically appear in a menu.

-A given model can appear more than once in an Extra Menu. Case example: the 2002 Honda NSX Type R, which appears in the Honda Type R and Honda NSX menus.

-A model can also be from the UCD. The aforementioned Honda Type R menu requires the player to buy a 1992 NSX Type R from the UCD.

-A model can also be from the LCD, as seen with the Porsche 550 Spyder that's required for the Mid-Engined Porsche menu.

-The theme of an Extra Menu can directly overlap with another type of menu. For example, first we had the Silvia Sisters Bonus Menu, now we've gotten the Nissan Silvia Extra Menu.

-When it comes to both the Nissan Silvia and Mid-Engined Porsche menus, both of these particular Extra Menus demonstrate how a required car may originate from a post-launch update, such as the Porsche 918.

-It is, however, profoundly unlikely we'll see a Bonus/Extra Menu that is exactly the same as a "vanilla" menu, such as how there's one for the Toyota Supra and Nissan GT-R. However, cars collected for these "vanilla" menus may later be part of an Extra Menu, such as the Chevrolet Corvette Extra Menu and its overlap with the broader Chevrolet-themed menu.

-As seen with the menus focusing on Gr.B and Gr.2 cars, race cars can be featured in Extra Menus. However, they may or may not have a more specific title referring to the real-world racing series these cars are based on, as the Gr.2 menu makes no reference to Super GT's GT500 class, despite only being made up of cars from that class.

Knowing these trends, here are my proposed Extra Menus, complete with how I think PD would name them.

"Gr.1"
Toyota GR010/Audi R18 '16/Nissan GT-R LM Nismo

"Historic Gr.1"
Sauber C9/Mazda 787B/Jaguar XJR-9

"Gr.3"
Mercedes-AMG GT3/Nissan GT-R GT3 '18/Ford GT Race Car '18

"Historic Nissan Racecars"
Nissan R92CP/Nissan Skyline GT-R GT500/Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette

"Historic Le Mans Winners"
Ford Mark IV/Porsche 917/McLaren F1 GTR '95

"Time Attackers"
Subaru WRX STI Isle of Man/Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak/Volkswagen ID.R

"Giugiaro"
Maserati Merak/Volkswagen Golf Mk.I/DMC DeLorean S2

"Pininfarina"
Ferrari Testarossa/Maserati GranTurismo/Ferrari 458 Italia

"Bertone"
Abarth 1500 Biposto/Lancia Stratos/Lamborghini Countach

As you can see, these ideas also feature cars already in the game. While I'm fully aware of the datamined list, I think there could be even more cars that weren't on the leaked list, and I could go nuts with speculation. For example, for the Pininfarina menu, my lineup would've been the Ferrari Testarossa, the Pininfarina Battista, and the Cisitalia 202 GT. Of course, I'd include other Pininfarina designs, too, like the Ferrari Sergio, but who am I kidding? I'm a Pininfarina fanboy, haha!

Yeah but knowing PD they would go for the cheapest and crappiest music. We're never going to see the likes of Judas Priest, Van Halen, etc again. Instead we'll get more ear hurting Rosalia or some kind generic rap music. Music that ultimately should not be in a racing game. Or exist in general.

I'm not sure about that. I thought the music in GTS was amazing. Really helped to offer that feeling of class and sublimity.
