Expect good things next update so I assume it will have some requested features along with a iconic car from the series but knowing PD that's just me on a dose of hopium, still hoping December has a massive update though.
We might flip when we see it guys, come on Red Rock Valley. :nervous:
That's my favorite original GT track so if they were to add Red Rock Valley so I would be pretty ecstatic to see it in 4K quality.

Seattle ? Grand Valley ? Midfield ? Autumn Ring ? El Capitan ?

R246 would be the easiest to put in the game probably. No need to be regulated by FIA like Trial Mountain. I'd be more inclined to play more if we get more city tracks.

I can see that being it. Especially with the recent partnership with IMSA. We already have The Glen anyway.

I don't know about the FIA thing, but since R246 is based in Japan and that they already have Tokyo assets they could reuse from Tokyo Expressway, it kind of makes me wonder why it's not in the game already.

This seems to be a new interview posted today with Kaz. Pretty in-depth and covering many different subjects.

Kaz taking credit for developing Sophy lmao

For those who need context, Sidawg is a current GT World Series competitor

What a strange hill for that Simon fella to perch himself on. Seems like bitterness or something that Nenkai doesn't just leak the entire list of things in development. Either that or he doesn't believe in the things he's releasing?

Both would be completely ignorant takes, but I don't see why else he'd leave a snarky comment like that, it's a very weird look.

I stopped reading that interview when Kaz said they don't think of themselves as game designers. Therein lies the problem. At the end of the day you make a racing video game, you're not as much as an innovator you think you are. Stop being so pretentious.

Went to run a wet race at Interlagos in my Verstappen livery Super Formula car and there is no rain option.... Now that lighting isn't baked in I can't think of a single reason why every track can't have rain and a full night day cycle.

Question isn't gt7 like a live service game.

I remember the only gacha game i played for around 6 months a few years back before it died they would release new content once a week on tuesday and hold a live stream once every month to highlight what the player base can expect.

it's now because of the water shaders and puddles

"Expect good things"

Another minor change to a track we already have?
Another duplicate of a VGT we already have?
More scapes?
More annoying horns and museum cards? (sorry, I have GT5 flashbacks)

Oh wait, I know what it is: an extra stage for music rally. That's a good thing.

Could be a reference to Road Atlanta, where the Porsche GT1 literally flipped.

Watch it be Cape Ring
Oh God please no. It already made me sick quite a few times, thank you very much PD...

Yep, makes me appreciate the game even less now.
Yeah, PD didn't get the memo on how to handle a live service game.
Yet they forced themselves to run this as one. Frustrating as hell.

What is wrong with that guy? Did he not know what Nenkai does?

I had a gigantic rant prepared to farm some likes in this thread but this interview shot me down hard. Suddenly it makes sense why GT7 is so awfully designed. It's not a video game in its developers' opinion, but now I kinda want to know what they do think they're making. They use the phrase "live service" after all and refer to GT7 as a game in updates.

How's that for another thing about Polyphony that doesn't make sense...

I wonder what he means by "should be same schedule as last month"
Last time it was a week early, but, considering Thursday is the update day, this time the "week early" for the update will be 17th, which means tomorrow we may already get silhouettes? And if the update is 24th then it would be pretty much the regular schedule. Also, was kinda expecting the update to be pushed back this time, so they can announce it during World Tour livestream, but I guess not.
