I'd argue that if GT wants to truly serve as a comprehensive collection of automotive history and culture, it needs to cover as many niche eras and car types as possible - and yes, that includes the ugly bits that people generally don't like.
A pretty egregious example of this currently not being the case is that fact that we don't have a
single American car built between 1979 and 1988, and even worse, none built between 1990 and 2002. And no, I don't count the Cosworths - those are European to the core.
