I mentioned this a few days ago in another thread, but I felt it would also be useful to mention this here. If you happen to import a GT Sport livery with a certain in-game decal that is not available in GT7 (such as the 'FIA Action for Road Safety' logos), the affected decal will still be carried over with the design. I'm not sure whether this applies to every decal (like the older logos for Mazda/Nissan, for example), but both of the 'Action for Road Safety' logos used on my Nausicaä TS050 were present and didn't require replacements.

The TS050 is almost ready to be deployed, but first I'll have to find a way of making the shapes forming the gunship windscreen frame less jagged. The black outlines are also much thicker than I remember them being in GT Sport, so that needs fixing as well if other players are likely to spot them.

Issues have also been encountered while updating the Princess Mononoke Alfa, particularly with pre-existing shapes glitching out and not being able to be corrected or duplicated properly even with the cursor. Among those are shapes forming the fur effects around the top, which means I might have to make some alterations to those from the final version that was shared on GT Sport. For now, here's a quick screenshot of my current progress with the updates; the Autobacs sunstrip is already in place alongside most of the replacement GT300 numbers:

I had a bit of trouble with shapes glitching out too, most were fixed by hovering over each decal with the cursor for a short moment or selecting them once and if something really went wrong adjust depth/angle.

Some of you guys are magicians with this stuff lol I'm trying to replicate a graphic of a frog from the 90s that looks like it was done by a child i.e. very simple.. And it takes me foreeeeverrr and I can barely get it under 15kb..

Meanwhile, you're out here putting damn perfectly sharp anime on stuff or just far more elaborate designs 🤦‍♂️

Also feel like all my cars look like ass when I try to take shots in Scapes. Just can't find a background that looks good and then the car just doesn't look right in it. Feel like it comes out way more realistic looking from race photos. But when anyone else takes Scapes photos.. they look great.

@R1600Turbo You have a Showcase link for that Integra? Looks great.

The majority of decals you see on my designs are already available in the game, or were previously shared by other users via Discover/Showcase or in GTP threads. Regardless of where they come from, it's how you use them that counts. ;)

The same also applies to cars from GT Sport that had Pirelli logos on their tires, this carries over to GT7 even though Pirelli is no longer selectable.

Calling this one done.

Toad Hall Motor Racing #3 SCCA World Challenge Porsche 911 driven by Peter Kitchak. This is based around the 1999 season. I'm keeping the number plate and class banner consistent across cars/seasons though.

If my understanding is correct, this is actually a 930 with 993 body work? Apparently this car is the winningest 911 chassis/tub in professional racing with 27 wins? It has currently been rebodied with it's old 930 body work and livery.

If you're looking for some good racing or livery editors looking for some background noise: Peter has uploaded most of the 1999 season Speedvision TV coverage onto Youtube.

Edit: Oops! I am a bad person and forgot to thank @The359 and @Nuschel01 for their help with the R.E. decal!

P.S. - It would help me if you showed the tiny frog to all your friends, families, extended families and other loose acquaintances. Please let them know it cost someone a piece of their life.

Ben Rushworth themed Integra Type R. It's about 85% correct I'd say. Can only do so much not making my own stickers and just using what I can find so that @Seebsma and @MatskiMonk could make them for me. Shout out to them! If you don't know who Ben is, highly recommend following him on Instagram and checking out his YouTube channel. He's pretty awesome.

Finished this one up and also created a second version that he used most recently.

You can get them both here if interested:

Found a few there that i used in GTS.

But how can i get them into GT7 ? ( decals from other people in my collection in GTS )
Actually i wanna know this to.

How can i transfer decals from the search site into GT7 ?

I've downloaded a decal & tried to open it in inkscape, save as svg and tried to upload it in GT7 but getting the error that this file can't be uploaded because it doesn't recognize it as a svg file.

Select the car that the livery you want to import is on.
You have to own and then be in the car you want to import.
Go to GT Auto.
Go into liveries and select the option for an existing livery and then it will load whatever GT Sport liveries you made.
I should update this.
It is best if you check what liveries are available to import as you will have to upload them or delete them first before you can access the older liveries. Don't buy the car you want first at the cost of 1M and then realise you can't import the livery you want yet.

When you go to import, select "All" and you can see what is available. Importing or deleting GT Sport liveries will free up space.

That's what I do too. And there are liveries I want to import but the car is too expensive/unavailable for now (Vulcan...)
So I deleted the livery in GT7 to leave space for the older liveries.
And I will still able to repost the livery on GTS to import my too expensive car liveries later.

Exactly. Unfortunately I have a lot of Gr2 and Gr1 cars shared late in GT Sport. :D

Yes, me too, i should buy a Scirocco GR.4, because i see 4 liveries available.
I need a Trueno to pop up too in the UCD, as there are 7 liveries of that one.

This is the case with one of the Porsches. I think the 964? It's a slightly different model to the one in GTS so the liveries don't transfer over
