Made a period NASCAR style RC Cola livery for the Superbird. A perfect playmate to my Boss 429 NASCAR I made during GT7's first few days.

I almost never used the editors in Forza so trying to learn to use it in GT is definitely an uphil walk for me.

First car I painted - a very amateurish effort loosely based on one of Billy Dingman's mid-80s IMSA GTO Pontiac Trans Ams:

I'm really proud about this one. The initial idea was to copy my GTS "Breitling" designs (HAZE2309, are you there?!), but I don't know... didn't seemed right with this car:

Messing around with colors got me thinking about doing one simple livery with the TOTAL brand as the main sponsor, but then I got a nice shade of green/lime. You know what they say "if you are out of ideias, make it like it's an official team!". You guys say that, right? No...?

Took way to long to finish the splitters and lights. You can see there's a lot of mistakes, but at this point to me is good enough!

Working on a helmet and suit now

Hello all. I have a question (well a couple of them) for you .svg making experts.

I'm trying to make a few of my own decals using Inkscape. As long as they're single color and simple, I've been somewhat successful. I've had a few "The browser you are using is not supported" messages, even after going to the SVOMG site. . . I may address that in another post later.

I've read the excellent tutorial on the first page relating to Inkscape, and it doesn't cover a couple of things I need to do.

Anyways, on to my main issues.
Here is an example of a decal I'm trying to make, and it covers both of the things that I cannot figure out how to do:

The first thing I'd like to do is remove the orangeish background, and leave the black surround (and the rest of the insides of course).

The second thing is to leave the colors in as they are, or close to it. I'm not terribly picky when it comes to this. When working on some previous decals, every time I separate the vector from the bitmap, the result is an all black vector. Am I missing a setting or something?

Yes, I AM kind of a NOOB at this.:boggled:

Thanks in advance for your time! I really appreciate what you fine folks do here!

The first Trans Am I bought, had gold surrounds at the headlights, and never liked it. Then the vomit green on showed up in the UCD with gray surrounds, so I jumped on it. This car has a problem, though. It will switch those surrounds to gold when you paint it, and after a suggestion from another member here, to do all decals, that worked. The bonus to this is, once you've created a livery with gray surrounds, you can use that as a starting point to convert a gold surround car to gray.

The white car originally had gold surrounds, and applying the livery from a car that had gray, converted it.

Hopped up one of my Superbirds...

A quick one (that took almost an entire week of fiddling) before the update. This mashup worked a lot better than I thought it would, though it was an absolute pain to track down and make the Canonica and Grifone crest logos. Sport mode safe-ish.

Once I create a livery on GT7 PS5 they do not appear in my showcase. I've created dozens since the game was released but my showcase only shows the 1st 2 I created on March 3rd. I've deleted my network temporary files and after talking with Playstation support yesterday they had me unlink then link again and even had me delete the game and re-download the game. Nothing worked. It is very frustrating because I would love to be able to share them. All my in game photos and my scape photos appear in my showcase but none of the liveries. Can anyone please help me??

what happens when you "save style" in gt auto?

It will save the livery. I can then only access the saved liveries from GT Auto if I am in my car and go to load liveries. Which makes it very frustrating.
This is the normal way? I haven't heard of any other easier way to access your liveries outside of being in the car and loading the livery in GT Auto. I don't see any error here

To be sure, I'm talking about this:

Do you get the option to share when the style creation is done ? Like this:

That's incorrect. They should also appear in the showcase under my items. Like I mentioned, my 1st 2 liveries I created when the game came out appear there. But after I created those, I grinded out the Cafe missions for a few days. Once I finished them is when I started creating the liveries and none of them are appearing in my showcase now.
