Gran Turismo 7 Livery Editor - General Discussion Thread

Sort of like what I did for most of my GT Sport liveries, I'm planning to use some of the classic racing colors for my GT7 liveries.

#97 / Le Mans 2013

I have finally had the time to remaster this iconic Gulf artcar now that GT7 have increased the maximum decals to 400 on the Body! Some details are altered to match this GT3's body and to fit Sport Mode races. Editing permission is on for those who want to swap numberplates and such.

It's the livery I spent the most time on without finishing it on GTS.
At some point, I got bored and was pretty sure I would hit the max decals limit too soon.

Thank you! I actually started this livery on my birthday, thinking it would be finished before heading out noon. Oh how wrong it turned out to be
The only reason I never gave up was because a friend challenged me to create the livery, so down to work I went

Speaking of challenges, how about recreating this in GT7?

2015 AMR Vantage GTE Art Car (Le Mans)

I can't imagine myself putting endless rectangles after rectangle. Creating your own decal-pattern is surely needed for this one. I don't have a fancy editing software, so I am automatically impressed if someone can actually create this.

Advan Subaru BRZ Daigo Saito

Made for the recent LEC, recreating Daigo Saito's GR 86 drift car on the older BRZ with a gloss carbon twill base instead of the usual gloss black.

Having said that, I am quite partial to an Art Car. Would you be impressed if I made my own decal pattern and didn't use any fancy editing software, just notepad.exe.?

There were a few of those in GTS already. Pretty sure someone took the time and uploaded the whole thing as a wrap.

Yes definetly on GTS, I remember seeing atleast one on the website. Haven't spotted one GT7 at the moment. Perhaps we'll wait for any of the creators to transfer it to GT7

Fat Five Racing Sunoco Prius.

A controversial remake of Daigo Saito's GR Supra. Widebody kit, Toyota base paint, and green Work wheels like the original, for those extra points of accuracy!

I think this livery makes the Prius look pretty bad ass!

My take on one of my favorite liveries, the Leyton House Porsche 962. This particular one is from the 1988 Fuji 1000K. Some of the decals are a bit wonky since there seems to be very few images of this particular car online. It was a miracle I even found the ab-road decal from searching for it in GT Sport. Hope you enjoy

Obvious inspiration from the classics, but not trying to recreate any car in particular. My main focus was making the factory decals accurate and clean.

Left them editable, so you're free to do whatever color combo you want.

Also, I only have one of these, awarded during the Cafe. Would like to have another. Was this car in the LCD, or UCD? I don't remember seeing it.

Huy Fong Sriracha Ferrari 308.

A saucy livery concept originally by Davide Verdis to prove sriracha sauce goes with nearly everything! Recreated on the Ferrari 308 using Rosso Dino as the base layer colour.

Finally invested in some Italian GTs ... looking at real life GT liverys the lambos and farrari never look great to me. Not sure if its the shapes or lines.
The mercs jags and Aston can literally roll in paint and come out looking amazing

So tried to keep its simpler than my normal livery

Any BTCC fans, kinda recreated one of my fav liveries. Yes it’s on the wrong car and should be in a BMW but my Lexus needed a livery and this seemed to work.


Also did an Apple inspired AMG GT3 car.
