@IngWeltschmer The 2004 model is also a Z06.

@05XR8 Yeah, but the C4 ZR-1 was a standard car in prior games. The pattern seems to suggest that when a car with a premium-quality model returns, it's usually the same year as the premium-quality one we had in GT5/6. The Gallardo, F430 Scuderia, BMW Z4 as a couple examples all have been the same model year.
The only example I can think of where they've brought back a Premium car as a different year/model is the Evo IX - that had the 2005 GSR as a PS3-era premium before we got the 2006 MR GSR last year.

Yeah, that's definitely the outlier and not the norm it would seem.

Something nobody has mentioned yet, by the way - the 1.54 patch notes mentioned that March 2025 is the next scheduled LCD price change.

So I don't think we need to be scouring social media for car features to be optimistic about an update this month.
There have been times where LCD price changes were behind schedule in 2023 (iirc) - but on the same time, there might be also a BoP shakeup before the official GTWS season begins in April, so don't count that out as a reason either.

I'm expecting a greater update this time, to match the third year anniversary :
1 track and 3 cars (maybe one or two more but 3 is the most logical), the usual new races, scapes, one menu and one extra menu.
Hoping for new content like missions or endurance races, maybe B-spec? But I think we will get something else with the track and cars (Sophy update? B-spec? Endurance? A surprise?)

-About the track, I'd go with Motegi (which was rumored a few months ago) or Sugo, to match the Super Formula tracklist (even though PoDy can add something totally different/an original track).

-About the cars :
*1 race car : We've got RS5 DTM in March 2023 and the GT-ONE in March 2024 ==> My heart want to dream about an R390 GT1, but I'd go with a Lancia from datamine, either the Delta S4 '86, the Delta WRC '92 or the 037 '84
*1 european returning in UCD : 599 GTB '06 or M5 '05 or RS6 Avant '02
*1 "Troll" car : I don't know why, but I'm feeling another "troll" car, probably not as much as the Unimog, but closer to the R4 GTL, so I'd go with a Citroen 2CV : we've got in GT4-GT6 the 2CV '54, but since PoDy prefer to add the latest version, I predict the 2CV Charleston '88 to '90 or maybe a Subaru 360

I would love the 2cv!

This basically confirms a new BoP and thus a March update:

I'm going to make the same note I did when this popped up in General Discussion. That Tweet is entirely in Japanese, and GTPlanet requires all posts to be in English; please post either an English version or a translation (even a Twitter's-own will do).

I may know what it says, and you may know what it says, but we have this as AUP rule #1 for a reason.

Yes I’ll be very surprised if there isn’t an update and I think with the recent trend we can expect to see more than 3 cars (purely based on statistics).

My Predictions Arent the best but i will try
Cars :
Return of cars from previous games (no not lotus or opel but from the manufacturers that are in the game )
And more Goofy cars (if that's even possible)
And new to the series/game (and also if even is that possible)
Tracks :
New or old faces (I'm not pretty sure)
Or still no tracks that year
Scapes :
I don't know
Others :
More engines swaps (i have no idea )
I have no ideas anymore now

Another theory for me to narrow down as a probable silhouette reveal draws closer.

Super GT(by name) is entering its 20th season. JGTC began in 1993 and are well past that for PD to have added those latest 2023 machines of new GT500 Z, last running of NSX-GT and continuation of Supra.
Last year’s debut of Honda Civic Type R-GT has made it the first five door hatchback to be used in GT500. Only GT300 have used five door hatchbacks, small wagons and four door sedans.

TGR Team au TOM’S won last season’s championship. It would be fitting to have another au livery Super GT car in the game.

Second place for the championship was the(again how fitting) #100 Stanley Team Kunitmitsu Cici Type R-GT

Third place fell to the final GT500 represented manufacturer in the #3 NISMO NDDP

2025 season begins April 12. Would make a good case to add these three cars to the growing GT7 car list.

I guess if the Gran Turismo post the Unimog today we may see silhouettes soon after? So, may have to hurry and narrow my predictions down towards end of the day(it’s Sunday morning where I am).

Edit: Oh yeah, another car I figured after watching the Mustang Challenge at Sebring. The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse.

It’d be another newer car to compliment the 2024 GT-R and 2024 Hyundai Ioniq N. Adds an up to date Ford and adds to the generation of Mustangs in the game.

For people wondering how official GTWS season ties in to updates: they used new-to-game content a few times in 2022's seasons but haven't really done so since. Make of that what you will, if anything.

Personally? I think Grand Valley releasing with that pitlane bug scared them off immediately using new stuff in esports stuff somewhat.
