I think the graphics are perfectly fine. It feels like the majority of people complain that games, including GTS, keep sacrificing gameplay in order to increase graphics. GT7 still looks great, runs at 60fps or even more, and most likely has dynamic time and possibly weather, which would have never happened if they increased the graphics even further.

But the people that complain will just keep on complaining no matter what happens. Lucky for us we have a nice sleek ignore button, which is most useful sometimes.

Why else would they change the layout though?

'Cause if they kept the original chicane, you just know some dude's gonna send it in, full speed, all 4 wheels off the ground, might even do a lil' flip, everyone's pissed. The last chicane of Trial Mountain is dumb, real dumb, it's like the biggest sausage kerb even made.

Do I think it's a bit pronounced? Sure. It's looks like Bathurst's chase with no run off, but we'll see.

Also, I agree with the person who said that the original pit lane and start straight could only accommodate 4-8 cars, and stretching it is a good call.

Except that GT7 will have the online portion taken directly from GT Sport. GT Sport’s online portion is the online portion of GT7.

Yeah, screw that. It pisses me off

Why not just play lobbies if you hate sport mode that much? That’s the only other online mode GT has ever featured so I don’t see the problem?
Don't mind answering him, believe me. He had a bad day. He can't even accept others opinion, smh.

The trailer had for next gen ??? so no PS4 version. This is disappointing IMO.

I know they wanted to show TM but Mazda vison GT was not a good choice. Anyways I am so excited if they redo all the classic GT tracks. The game is going to be awesome.

Your West Coast dots are partially incorrect. Your "Laguna Seca" is actually Willow Springs which is about 40ish miles N-NE of Los Angeles. Your "Broad Bean" is actually Laguna Seca just outside Monterey (I walked all round the circuit in 2001). Trial Mountain is fine as it is.
I do know where Laguna Seca is, thank you, I was there last weekend. It's not nestled in the San Francisco Bay, like my "Blue Moon Bay" (not Broad Bean) dot is, it's about 100 miles south of that. There are no race tracks on the San Francisco Peninsula, so I went with Blue Moon Bay, which has been stated by PD to be "on the West Coast" and "near a bay". As you stated, most/all of the GTS tracks appear to be here, so I'm not sure where else it would go.

I think the Texas track might be Circuit of the Americas
I considered that too, but the location is a bit off? Well, the whole map is a bit weird anyway.

While we're obsessing, here's another interesting tidbit, which I believe Andrew was referring to in his latest article:

Most of these thumbnails are probably showing Trial Mountain... But not all. Especially the FR Challenge one, Trial Mountain definitely doesn't have a hairpin like that. I'm not sure about the Clubman one either. Any ideas? Autumn Ring maybe??

So, no one is gonna talk about the facelift of the RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT? It seems pretty minimal.

Not sure how a slightly different detail to the Grille is a facelift. =Even in the GTS shot, it still there but in a different color.

Why else would they change the layout though?

The only thing changed was the final corner and Chicane, more likely because its way overdue for a pit lane that holds more then just six cars.

The two with ?? are -very- doubtful, I consider them more likely to be other fantasy tracks (Northern Isle? SSRX? Maaaybe Fisherman's Ranch although when it was in a WT the map had it somewhere else)

There's also the possibility that might be COTA in Texas.

Texas Motor speedway is already in GT Sport, Northern Isle.

Nothing other than the fact that they designed it to look exactly like it.

Not exactly seeing it.

To be honest, most of GT's hardcore fanbase are now crossing their thirties (I'll be 30 myself next year in Feb), and with work, family and social events, I think I'll finally welcome being one of the casuals. It's time for my kids to spend endless hours on Gran Turismo, here's to hoping they also get GT games till they turn into adults themselves.

30!? Pfft. I bet when you were first playing you didn't even have an onion on your belt.
(It was the style at the time)

Just putting it out there, those thumbnails can very easily be placeholders.
They very well may be, although you'd think they'd still take them from tracks under development, right?

Also, Northern Isle is way closer to Bristol, but that guy is just trolling at this point so we should just ignore him

Northern Isle is not a rip-off of Texas Motor Speedway; it's a rip-off of Bristol Motor Speedway.

They are probably placeholders since we don't know how far along GT7 is. If I had to guess though, I guess its twin ring motegi because of the blue curbs, or maybe its an alternate layout of trial mountain

I don't think it's Motegi. There isn't any hairpin with a hill next to the curb like that. My guess is a remaster of Grand Valley, Midfield Raceway, or an all new circuit.

Technically, its both a Dover and Bristol Ripoff. Dover's banking and size with Bristol's aesthestics and surroundings. Also, it wasn't me that said it was a Texas ripoff.

I agree that they're probably placeholders, but I still think they would use a picture of an actual track they're making, not make entirely new art for no reason.
Motegi has a paddock in the middle of its hairpin, not a... big rock, or something.
Hmm, Autumn Ring also has blue/white curbs in the newer games...

I see no banking so it isn't (unless they also remastered Grand Valley)... Or it could be one of GT Sport's tracks :mischievous:

Apologies. Yes, you're right of course. I wasnt thinking it out well. What has been confusing me partly is the fact there are only 2 dots on the California coast?

Are we saying, therefore, that the lower dot covers both Willow Springs AND Laguna Seca?

Or perhaps what looks like one dot is actually 2 very close together that are blurring on the map?

Or is Laguna Seca not on the map at all (Willow Springs is in a screenshot so we know that is included)?

Like I said, confused... :boggled::lol:

Well its a shot in the dark but what about Cape Ring? It has rocky terrain like the picture and blue curbs as well.
I kinda hope it is, I love that track lol

Who said I hated sport mode? Are you half asleep?

I hate the fact that we are getting the SAME EFFING GAME

I see mileage points are returning as well. In the trailer, I didn't see a Mileage Exchange. Not sure if it'll be returning or not but I think it'll be integrated with GT Auto where you use mileage points for vehicle maintenance, wheels, and possibly Gr. 3 road cars(?)

Willow Springs is deceptively far from the coast. https://www.google.com/maps/place/W...2ce1628b32832d2!8m2!3d34.869957!4d-118.264432

I'm pretty sure it's the lower California dot, as I put in my image.
