I'm going to assume you're being sarcastic, dry sense of humour, etc... coz there is nothing in GT that simulates racing, for example, unrealistic physics, rubberbanding AI, chase the rabbit scenarios's, no practice and qualifying, virtually all rolling starts, ridiculously matched opponents... it has rubbish racing and does a poor job at simulation and goes out of the way to make the game not fun (content locked behind roulette tickets, and invitations and extreme pricing). I think GT7 can best be described as a car library for enthusiasts... :)
I assume you only do what people tell you to do, the game have the things you say your just doing what single player content tells you to do but if you dig a bit deeper...

Theres not a single real simulator in the world cause you cant feel the real forces of physics in your body i think we all can say that to an extend, and every racing game out there its only a interpretation or a diferent interpretation of racing not a real racing cause its virtual and its only software running...

Anyway, i drive every day and i do like to play GT and i think it does a decent job, its a game like any other SIM and in some ways its more challenging compared to real SIMs so.

Get in a private league with qualification on and "real" damage on, standing start on and get damage in the first corner and get your race ruined, guess that will feel a bit more real for you :)

About the update its free and adds a lot but i was hopping for a revamp in sport mode and Psvr2 hud update aswell, really miss the delta.

It already said that in the previous version though
Nothing new then :D

Straight away: i already would like to have a skip through next button for the weekly challenges. Now we always have to click the weekly challenge tab on the upper right hand side.

The new GT3 RS is insanely planted compared to the older ones it's not even funny.
Well it has an insane amount of downforce compared to the last one.

I wonder if this update includes fixing the inaccurate turbo boost gauges that so many vehicles have?

How is it easier to win against Sophy than it is against regular AI is something I don’t get.
Has your car been modified in any way, shape or form? It's something that has been commented on quite a lot that the opponent matching works based on the stock version of your car.

Likewise, you can use this to make the mode more challenging if you like by fitting ballast or a power reducer to your car as Sophy's vehicle choices won't change when you do

Stock Porsche 911 RSR.

What difficulty do you have the game set to?
The hardest for both regular AI and Sophy.

Got an error when trying to access one of the new meeting places.

This was on the special stage route X.

So not totally bug free...

Is the Red Bull X series extra menu buggy for anyone else? I own all three but it only shows 2 in the menu. Not trying to spend 3 million on a dupe I would never drive

Same here.
Don't have the game open to check, but I'm assuming you need to have bought the X2019 Competition rather than just having the 25th Anniversary version which was gifted.

Weekly Challenges:

Just completed those. These will defenitely keep me coming back every week!

1. Mix between existing and 1 "special" event. I really hope they further improve those special events. More credits, more difficult race, maybe a race against sophy...
2. In terms of credits to earn with this: i have mixed feelings about this. I took me around 30-45min to complete all these races. So i counted without CRB: 5 races => 25000 + 50000 + 81000 + 68000 + 90000 credits for all 5 races. Equals = 314000. Then 100k and 200k for the tickets. Equals 614000 credits. Now this is around the same credits for the highest paying races like Le Mans and the other who gives 550000 credits. As last i received another 5 star golden ticket which gave me the Audi E-Tron VGT. If i would sell this via the car valuation service it would give me 502000 credits! Nice! So yeah good credits, but only earnable once a week (obviously :D).
So now with the credits raised for doing custom races, i hope we can steer away from grinding the 3 events.
I read somewhere that it is now possible to earn about 1mil credits in 20min with custom races?

Is this bar new?

Or was it always there and I just never noticed?

If new I'd be concerned that there is no progress in the bar...

Has anyone tested the outright pace (or vehicle selection) of Sophy races when changing the game difficulty?

I haven't tried myself, but I have a sneaky suspicion that the outright pace of Sophy is somewhat fixed in this implementation and not impacted by that option. I may, of course, be completely wrong.
