Has anyone tried the paddock? It’s pretty cool you can pick your spot and zoom in on the cars.. It just took forever to load though sheesh… If they could somehow use this format for sports mode but make it the grid that would be awesome.. something like FM does.

At work also. Looking forward to taking on the license tests . . . in VR.

This is the way to get that McLaren MP4/4 for me. Wasn't a fan of spending that much for the car, but this will be the trick!

Ive only played the game on VR and am stuck trying to gold the super license tests…the s license is giving me a huge challenge and am looking forward to the master licensing tests in Vr as well!

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Spec II Revealed: Upgraded GT Sophy AI, New Snow Track, New Cars, and More

It’s official: the coming update for Gran Turismo 7, v1.40, will be known as Spec II, and will bring with it a new track, new cars, new game features, and the permanent addition of a dedicated Gran Turismo Sophy mode when it becomes available on November 2...
The update doesn't recognize vehicles already acquired for the new menus. I had to repurchase all of them. 🤬

You need to currently own them. If you have previously owned but sold them, they will not be counted.

I still own all of mine and they were all instantly counted and - where applicable - completed the EMB without me doing a thing.

Gotcha, the DeThomas Mangusta now shows being acquired on the 'Car collection' page after buying it 3 times. 🤔

Not related to new update but this is a straight damn lie lol

Seems like a single player oriented update but it is pretty damn huge. Not a whole lot for us GT Sport players but I feel like if this version of GT7 had come out a year and a half ago it would've garnered much more fan fare. Or if they had just waited but we've probably been beta testing for a year and a half so who knows. Hopefully the PS4 players have finally purchased a PS5 and we can all be playing on the same system so the races will be more populated.

Fingers crossed that a competitive oriented update like this is coming down the road which would be amazing. 7 Gr.3/Gr.4/Gr.2 cars and another track plus a more sophisticated progress tracker would be amazing. Also for the love of god fix the UI in VR. Not sure if the ghosting is still bugged or not.

Tried going in there, froze the game and had to do a reboot lol.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the sports and fully customizable suspension on the LFA pretty much nuke it's handling without heavy tuning. If you put the fully customizable suspension on, lower the ride height from stock to 105 mm, as speced by the Nurburgring edition, and then revert all the other settings to stock, the car handles like it's on ice. I haven't experienced this with other cars. Could this be a bug?

I don't think it ever removes "physical" badges? Can be wrong
Isn't it only decals, like that 400R stripe, getting removed? (And it really should be optional)
From what I remembered, the game definitely removed the 991 GT3 RS rear badge when I tried to repaint it.

You do know that Sport mode is cross compatible, right? If every PS4 owner bought a PS5 and continued with their normal play habits the online experience would remain the same (with the exception of load times in races with PS4 and PS5 owners, as theirs take longer to load in)
