I can't call it. However, the F3500-A was a surprise. Plus, I remember the rumours of Albert Park(which didn't amount to anything - we do have Scapes in Melbourne though). Couple that with rumours of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and a bigger than ever eSports event(s), could be a good time for us all.

IMO we have another 20ish cars and one more track ahead of us until PD officially announce that they are winding down support and focusing on the next one.
I continue to adore GT7 even though year three felt a bit like a year off - especially now where they have basically reverted their big year 3 physics changes.

Would be great if it keeps going on like in the previous year, don’t see a reason right now why it wouldn’t.

-Some special cars from the

-More Menu Books, for Example one
for Historic Racing
-Quality of Life Improvements,
for example having a option which
sets automatically ABS and things
like that according to if that specific
model you drive really has it in
reality (like many classic cars don’t
or the TVR), or being able to see
in the garage which tires are on your
cars

I don't think we are getting a new GT on PS5, so until we start hearing about PS6 being around the corner I don't expect GT7 updates to slow down. Which also means no Pikes Peak or other long tracks, unless they start adding PS5-exclusive content. Definitely will get a track this year, or maybe even two, if the "nine months or seven updates" keeps happening.

The game started good with a good potencial for becoming something very strong but with strange decisions stayed a little....
Have a nice car and track roster (with some so strange additions) but the main problem is that they don't 'used' them a lot (Championships or custom championships etc)
TT and weekly races are very interestring and i would like to expand them a little
On line gaming suffers from customizing.
Used car prices are so depressed.. The engines and the parts collection that we can't sell them become so annoying.. Some kind of auction car, parts and engines would be nice..
I hope in the year to come to add some track(s) events and customizing to boost the game generally

Can‘t believe it‘s already been three years. Let’s see what PD has in store for us this year - Hopefully a new track (or two). It‘s been a while.

Im grateful for the ongoing support, but as it stands I play the weekly races for high credit tickets for a couple of hours each week other than that its groundhog day... made worse by the game not offering a whole lot fresh from GT Sport. On the other hand im completely engaged in motorfest as its content drops are far superior for variety. GT needs fresh tarmac, I really dont mind spending money on extra content either... wake up polyphony there is business opportunities out there.

Tahiti would be great, I would love to see recreated with the actual technology and the engine of PD.

Nice eye candy, but still the same catch the rabbit races over and over with the same tragic AI, outdated physics, lackluster online lobbies. It’s a nice car museum / encyclopedia, and fun to just hang around, tune cars, test drive them, but that’s about it for me.

"Anyone else remember Apricot Hill being teased before launch?"
With all due respect if Apricot Hill was being teased intentionally it would have at latest been added to the game before Grand Valley, which didn't receive any teasers despite being a more significant circuit to the franchise. Frankly any teasers at the time would have been implying circuits at the launch of the game, not update content.
Even so if Apricot Hill does show up now, it's too far removed to say the supposed teaser was hinting at it all along.
And I like Apricot Hill. I hope it does return eventually, but that specific "teaser" has to be discredited at this point. They wouldn't tease a circuit publicly over 3 years in advance, let alone one that doesn't have the additional hurdles of laser-scanning or licensing. We can now say the circuit lines matching up was just a coincidence.
The way you could tell it wasn't like the other teasers at the time is that the other ones were shown from a vertical top-down track map perspective, while the Apricot Hill one was from more of a distorted angle. That was why I didn't trust it as an actual teaser.

That‘s probably the most frustrating aspect of GT7: The game‘s base is unbelievably good but for whatever reason PD refuse to let the game live up to its full potential. Imagine GT7 in its current state but with a proper, old-school career mode, more up to date race cars and a more diverse track selection (including all the iconic original Gran Turismo circuits). It would be the greatest racing game ever made.

Supporting the game with free content for three years is impressive and highly appreciated... but I think Polyphony Digital could pour more heart into supporting this game by releasing new gameplay features or at least making more QoL improvements (FoV settings anyone?). We haven't seen anything like that since the amazing Spec II update in November 2023 (or around that time).
I've been a GT fan since I started with GT 1. Unfortunately, GT7 has only made it to 5th place in my GT favorites so far.
1st place -> GT 3 and 4
3rd place -> GT 2
4th place -> GT 5
5th place -> GT 6 and 7
7th place -> GT 1
In my opinion, the variety of different car types and the need for driving licenses were a strength of the older parts. I really miss these in GT 6 and 7.
I hope that PD will put out a real cracker for their anniversary at the end of the month.

We should be able to sell all car parts & we should be able to buy engines, especially after level 50 unlocked.
A constant problem is the lack of player options which takes a few hours to code.
And the the regular AI is/seems worse than in GT3/GT4/GT5/GT6 because when the games forces my car to slow down in some events, the AI cars sometimes drive straight into my car.
The physics are not very good, albeit not very bad either. The grip on RH tires with race cars (when tires are not even 50% red) are substantially worse than in real life, especially when driving less than 100 mp/h.

It's been a pretty wild 3 years already!
I can't help but feel there is some sort of substantial 'Farewell' update (similar to the Laguna Seca update in GTS) looming in the near future. It makes far too much sense to be releasing a new game for the 30th anniversary, and the focus needs to shift at some point! 🤷🏻♂️
