Was this Weather Radar button there before 1.40 or mentioned in the update log??

Anyone else having an issues with the TrueForce function working on their Logitech wheels? I’ve tried unplugging and plugging back in, restarting the console, and checking the vibrations and force feedback settings and nothing, I can’t get the function to come back on.

New feature: "return to the map" is now located in the top left menu under the GT logo allowing you to return to the main screen from practically anywhere in one click. HALLELUJAH
This was in the game from day 1.

Yeah I have a Logitech G Pro DD set and it is not giving me any Trueforce audio. I’ve tried turning it all the way off then back on, multiple resets, I even updated to the latest firmware through G Hub and nothing. Looks like they update deactivated support for now.

So it seems a general issue with the vibration function with any wheel equiped with true force or a transducer.

I have the same problem with my TGT 2 no vibration at all.

The NISMO dealer has been added in the selection filter of the home garage, the 400R is listed as NISMO not NISSAN.

Lol, that explains why I couldn't find it at

yesterday while all the other new cars were there.

The resonator thingy on my T-GT no longer works. I'm using a PS4 Slim, wheel is plugged directly into the console.
I can confirm no more detail…. Very frustrating…
After re-installing the game I can confirm that the transducer of the Thrustmaster TGT 2 no longer works.

I’ve tried on GT Sport and it still working….

So the 1.40 update just kill the vibration for any TGT out there… (unless it works with some of you…)

Hope this issue can get attention so they can fix it ASAP.
For the T-DFB (vibration effects of the transducer) on the T-GT & T-GT II with GT7 Update V1.40, while waiting for a fix, here is the solution: set the VIBRATION STRENGTH at 125 and not more (with V1.40 update the T-DFB vibration effects works until value is set at 125, but if you exceed this value it no longer works).

Just as a reassurance compared to above, my G Pro TrueForce works absolutely fine after the update, no issues at all. I'm unsure what my vibration setting is at, but I suspect it isn't 150 as that makes the TrueForce vibration effects absolutely insane, I think it's below 50 in fact, so would correlate with the fix above for the T-GT.

It was mentioned in the specific Logitech G Pro thread too that having it at 150 the TF doesn't work.

Interesting, I will try later today at 125.

But I ve also tried at 50 yesterday and nothing works.

Where did you get that tip by the way ?

Not sure if this is new, I'll try to explain: I have the large brake pedal (covers both brake and clutch) when using manual transmission if I downshift and touch brake transmission pops up showing N don't remember this before it downshift however many gears I went down. It's like the transmission goes into neutral instead of gear. Before in manual it was like using paddle shifter on an automatic transmission. I use the G29 wheel. No I'm not pressing the triangle before race.
I use a double break pedal too. Have you tried calibrating the pedals and setting the clutch super low?

Even before this update I had issues when breaking really hard but I’ve swapped the G29 brake rubber out now

You are the man ! It works ! Thank you now I can enjoy the update

Very minor thing that got fixed: previously, PS5 loaded the purchased car animation too fast which resulted in the jingle being interrupted by the collector level screen. Now that screen is delayed so you hear almost the full soundbite.

I'm glad they fixed that tbh, it was bothering me. :irked:
Nvm, this is still very much a thing with shorter animations (e.g. buying a used Japanese car)...

Regarding the FFB warning, it seems the FFB itself has changed once again and that has prompted the need to have a warning.

Back when PD made the update that revamped the entire FFB so that people got their panties in a very tight knot and screamed loud enough for them to roll it back even though it was a massive improvement, high downforce race cars felt like the steering column was just about welded solid from the other end. That feeling has returned which is great, but the main thing is that I'm now running FFB at 3 and it feels like it did at 9 back then. I don't have any doubts about there being a very real chance for some dislocated thumbs at high settings now, it's already heavy at 3 and my wheel is the (by elitist standards) feeble T-GT II and its ~6 Nm torque.

No I had just jumped into racing not had PS5 on for about 4 weeks. Will recalibrate next time I race.
