I don't understand what happened last night when I went to bed I had a GOLD hotlap of 2:20.365 lap on the lap time challenge and 2:20.445 was the gold limit!
I wake up this morning and I don't get a gold... I get a silver.. what happened?

The top time improved. Top time +3% is the gold limit.

That is not possible it has been sitting on 2: 20 .445 for over a week,now that means about 90000 people had to greatly! improve their laptimes, last night!

They finally fixed the look left and right views when in hood/roof cam. OMG I can finally see who is beside me. I've only been waiting since the GT Sport Beta, but no bigs.

The extra menu book with the Porsches had me laughing hard. Spend millions to amass the 3 cars for a 100.000 reward. Why even bother creating such content in the first place, make something more useful like events instead.

This will most likely be the first "extra" menu book that I won't complete. I have zero interest in spending millions on a warmed over VW (I say that as a lifelong Porsche fan).

I felt like a lot of criticism of the game when it debuted wasn't entirely warranted, given the promise (and in some cases hope) that they'd fix things. Well they haven't and it's been 6 months, so they probably never will. Makes my head spin about what PD decided to do with this game back in the planning stage. Why include so many legendary race tracks...only to barely use them? Boggles the mind.

This is dumb.

Bait people into wasting their credits hoping for a good reward.

The laptimes have been based on averages a percentage point..
improving your hot lap at the very top has very little effect on the top 2 and 3% title...
I've competed in 5 or 6 of these and every single time the laptop average of the top 3 percentile has settled around a week before and not once has it changed overnight
P.S. And when I went to bed it was 2 o'clock in the morning

I'm not saying the game didn't glitch and nerf the lap times. Were talking GT7 here . I'm simply saying that it is possible for the times to shift. Maybe this TT was much more popular and competitive towards the end.

Not sure about nerfing the BRZ, but my goodness, the concept Supra needs a rethink imho. I know TOY are a staunch partner but the straight line power of the car (combined w/ super glue traction) is a hell of a challenge especially on the Nordschleife and that's without a normal draft tow. We run the Ring a lot and on several occasions while wringing the neck out of the 991 or M6, a good Supra driver that's within a second will still catch and pass you with no shot of reciprocation in later laps unless they incur a huge mistake. Sure, it's labeled as a concept, but just seeking better balance against others in the group. Thanks for this info.

The ID-R is a fun car, took it to the neglected track called Mount Panorama, you may have heard about it from the one event you did there 6 months ago, it was fun.. now i wait for the next patch in a month.

What's up with the CRB? Didn't get any for all the new races. For the Silvia events, never touched a car or got off track => no CRB??

And there is no damage for these events unlike the previous update. At least for the Tokyo event.

Fair Point to raise but GTSport had much less content at launch. I put hundreds of hours in GT7 and I am no where close to experiencing even half the content.

I don’t know how. I got gold in everything in like around 20 hours. The solo content is bare bones and what they’ve added has been almost exclusively missions that pay once or books for the dumbass cafe. There’s still cars with no or few events and custom races pay garbage.

Loving the Silvia Sisters AI cars.

Same! They're using some really cool combinations. My favorite is the green-ish with gold wheels.

They're also tuned. I noticed during the replay that some of them are using racing brake discs, sports/racing silencers and/or turbos.

I usually keep all my cars stock, but I'll be definitely tuning my S14. Not only because it looks good, but because the S14 reminds me A LOT of L.A Rush:

I’m not sure how people are genuinely happy with this update.
3 new cars, 1 of which simply doesn’t count, another which is useless on anything other than a time trial, and a third which is an easy reskin of another generation of car.

A handful of new events, none paying out well, split screen still broken, still can’t sell cars.

These updates are a joke. PD would save themselves a lot of derision if there was a simple roadmap explaining what was coming.

Not that, but when I actually press the left/right buttons, the camera looks to the left and right instead of doing nothing when mapped properly.

Must be an issue with assigning it to buttons as I never had issues looking left and right with the right analogue stick on the controller.
