The garage could have been better implemented, the fixed video that automatically plays when you select a car, makes you wait if you want to see a particular view and I don't think it shows the right side view, in other games you could enter the garage and use the thumb-stick to look around the vehicle, then select it if you want to drive it, this already exist in GT7 livery editor when selecting preview. It's a bit strange with PD putting all the work in this amount car detail, it's more limiting than most car games.

There's times when I just want to look at the vehicle, but not select it, instead the game selects it and I have to go back to the other car and pick it again, very frustrating.

I imagine they're also a bit gunshy about making Sophy publicly available for too long considering recent high-profile AI launches by both Microsoft and Google/Alphabet have been absolute disasters. No doubt PD would rather keep this tightly controlled to minimize the fallout if it also ends up being a dumpster fire.
If Sidney, the Microsoft AI, gets its way, I'm going to get in my truck and run away as fast as possible. I hope Sophy is willing to drive!
For real, Sidney threatened to release another "killer virus" on humanity. At this point, it's time to control alt delete that thing. I own one piece of AI technology: a keyboard that shares sound banks with some air powered androids they're testing in Japan. It's already made a few tweaks of its own based on my inputs.

You didn't gather what I was saying. Why do the Sophy events have to disappear after a month? How does the events being removed effect anything from PD's perspective? Not like the data gets saved on our PS5s and then they need to retrieve it.

Collect the data until April, but leave the events there while they continue to develop Sophy in the background. At the next Sophy update, those events get replaced or new events added on.
Ok, yes, now I see what you meant by that. That is a great question. I've been involved in many beta projects for software and it's ongoing. They don't pull the software back.

Maybe someone that has more of a background in development can chime. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that they can't work on it if it's constantly being used?⁉️😕🤔

The ”Style Room” is nice and maybe we get to look underneath our cars in GT Auto. Really hoping the wind tunnel makes an appearance.

Myself I can't wait to see the adjustments. The graphics changes on 2D mode (tech tweaks), the physics maybe?, any QoL stuff (like being able to set Tire x1, Fuel x1 and Real Off Tracks physics before entering the tracks on time trial.

As this is a big update, I'm hopeful we have a lot of unnanounced changes too.

If you'll pardon the inevitable car analogy, trying to alter a "learning" system like an AI while it's still in use is kind of like trying to change an engine's oil while it's still running; there's a high chance that unwanted or even damaging results may occur. There's huge amounts of data to be examined and analyzed, so you generally don't want your datasets being spoiled by new inputs that may completely send it off in a whole different direction before you understand how it reacts to what you already have. It's a lot more volatile than other sofdtware that has static features and acts the relatively the same way every time you use it.

I could also say that making it time limited also means people will be more apt to use it as much as possible before the month is out and probably push it harder to see if they can possibly break it, which will give much more varied data than if they just let folks casually interact with it whenever they want.

Thank you!

Are they doing everything tonight? The entire update?

We'll be able to play the new content tomorrow?
The update will happen during the server maintenance. You'll be able to play the game once maintenance ends.

60 Minutes to Go, and counting...
Nice I'm holding off on doing the daily mileage for after the update wanna do the daily mileage on the new version of Grand Valley only question is which car will get the honor to be the first on that track the p1 or f1? I'm torn between the 2.:(

To be fair I did say silly question is just that over night updates confuse me when it comes to time zones.
UTC, GMT.
Open the google browser, type in the time followed by UTC and it will automatically give you your correct time for your location.
So for this it would be. 06:00 utc or 06:00 gmt.

That simple.

I already decided, it will be the 350z... it was with this car that I learned to play. Preferably on the Grand Valley East. :)
