You definitely won't be getting the Himedic as it won't be available to buy until the end of September. The same thing applies to the Toyota GR Corolla.

It's a choice of the Maserati and the Corvette. Until the Corvette drops out of rotation in whichever shop it is in a few days, and then it's only the Maserati.
Oh man I forgot about that…

I assume to register a time in the TGR GT cup,to recieve the Corolla, you need ps plus?

Edit.Found the info.

Is there a way to obtain it earlier? And if so: how? Thx for the reply btw. :)

You can use it in Free Practice for Round 7 of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Cup at Watkins Glen
🤯 GENIUS ;) I didn't come up with that ;)
EDIT: *Atlanta

Of course it feels lacking. Extra wait for an update that brings 2 cars + an additional 2 stretched out over the month at one-time availability. Until the end of September. 4 races, all with pathetic rewards, all based on the same rulesets we already had.

This update doesn't do much new, doesn't bring much old, and is meant to fill a 3 month period.

I think this is the worst update yet. Half the content is locked behind time-gates, the movie tie in is literally just a Gr.3 Time Trial which we already get dozens of, the events and engine swaps are insanely uncreative, and the QoL features they added are borderline pointless.

As much as I love this game, this update gives you absolutely 0 reason to play. It's a complete fumble.
For new players coming to the game this update, a likely possibility because of the movie, they are immediately slapped with both FOMO based and time-gated drip fed content. That's an awful look. If I started playing a game and saw half the stuff from each update was drip fed in-front of my face, I'd stop playing.

Worse, it incentivizes me to play ACC and AC with mods on PC to get my fix. Not this update specifically, but the culmination of content released in over a year in GT7 is embarrassingly too modern gaming for its traditional gamer’s roots.

Thank the maker for the new flashy highly embellished “true story” movie to get the adhd kids hyped to take our places as we leave GT for greener sim racing pastures.

Being able to see a giant flashing BRAKE BRAKE! on screen with auto-brake enabled is a true game changer. Nevermind the brake input display on the HUD.
Hahahaha that’s disappointing to say the least. Obnoxiousness over nuance. Way to go PD! 🤣

Locking the Hiace behind watching the stream is an exquisite failure on PD's part. I'm willing to bet reception would be much more positive towards the update if it was there on launch.

I guess we can only hope and cope that there's another coming at the end of the month, 'cause otherwise this'll be a hell of a wait.

The Corvette C1 is beyond beautiful the highlight for me.:)

The Maserati is doing nothing for me it looks like someone took parts from a Ferrari, McLean, Aston Martin and created the Maserati mc20. :indiff:

I think I may enjoy the ambulance more then the Maserati.

You have to go into the last new circuit we got and look in Custom Races, Drift Events, Circuit Experience. I had this too. Just click on all of those things, don't even have to do them. It will go away then.
Thanks for the tip. I've tried it (it took ages to go through everything) and the red dot is STILL there!
I think I'll pretend it's not there...
