So wait, the Corolla and the HIMEDIC won't be available for purchase until September? There will be early access to the vehicles for those who complete some in-game event activity? Am I misconstruing something or is it really going to be like that?

Twitter reads:
‪“Two new GT World Series campaigns to earn credits and rewards”

I initially got excited thinking maybe we get new grinds. But I read it again it’s GT World Series things. Lol. 😅

edit: there was a discussion about this. They say it's fixed now, we'll see
6. Lobbies
 - We fixed an issue in which a deteriorated car would change to Good Condition when driven in a room with the BoP/Tuning Prohibited option set to "On."
 - We also addressed an issue in which the horsepower/vehicle weight information in the bottom right corner of the Quick Menu screen would not display correctly if accessed from a room with the BoP/Tuning Prohibited option set to "On."
 - We fixed the issue in which the changes to the settings would not be reflected after entering the track.

I went on twitter yesterday and asked for high speed ring 700 or 800 grind with weather change. Lol. Don’t reckon this will be a grind but at least there’s a new race at this track I like this circuit.

Me to. I used to make Group3 race there in custom race mode :)

Edit: As discussed later on, I was wrong here. Ignore this post.

The new weather radar zoom is 100km from centre to edge; the previous most zoomed out version was 50km.

That's not quite as predictive as it sounds unfortunately as I'm guessing the weather patterns will still be unrealistically quick-moving.

They are unrealistically quick moving because of shorter races and time compression. If you set time compression to 1x in custom race you will have realistic weather pattern.

That's my problem with all updates. We already have a fun 30-minute race with variable weather at this track using Gr.3 cars, inside the Gone With The Wind missions. Why not add it to World Circuits? :banghead:

It's already there, give to us! I'm happy to have another event for Gr.3 too, especially for HSR because HSR is a fun track, but you know... it could have been better.

If I have to guess, since all 800 events can be finished in ~12-15 minutes, maybe this event is ~15 laps?

I wonder if ticking the box on the wishlist, alerts PD to the demand for certain cars. That's another way to track who wants what and when to offer for sale.

Very interesting. If the market is flooded with Mazda Demios and Honda Fits, the price goes down. If only, say, a handful of Alfa 155s are put up for sale, the price goes up. Maybe half price if it's originally 1/5. I don't know. Just thinking about it.
👍
I posted that in September. We’ll see if demand had an effect on pricing.
