My thoughts on this update. Sorry for the long post.
The Maserati MC20 was a very interesting addition, much more than I thought. Already in its stock form, it has excellent handling, always predictable, just a little understeer. I then tried to elaborate it as a GT3, with a very basic setup, yet with 510 hp x 1,310 kg (a sort of BoP comparable to that of the Ferrari 296 GT3 IRL) it does not go beyond 695.xx PP, even on RM tyres. At that point I tested it in the WTC700 Le Mans event, and it was a killer. Very easy win. The only small problem, even on fuel map 6 it's not easy to complete 3 laps per stint. Maybe with less hp, preparing it more like a Gr. 4, it would be better. On the other hand, it is very kind to the tyres. I still want to prepare it as a GT3 anyway, I'll still work on it.
The GR Corolla would probably be a great car with a setup, as it stands it seemed to me very nervous in terms of rear axle, when cornering it tends to point a lot at the apex... it's strange. But as I said it's not bad, with a little practice you "understand" and adapt to it.
The Corvette is not really my thing, I like vintage cars but this is also a roadster... I can't deny that for me Gran Turismo is a racing game more than a driving game, so I don't really like cars like this. But I admit that it is sooo iconic and therefore I understand who appreciates it.
The Toyota HiMedic, well... I prefer not to comment. I repeat, in a game that for me is above all a racing game, I would have preferred other additions. Seems like a bit of a waste of time and resources.
On the lack of a new track, what can I say... It's very disappointing, not because there aren't enough tracks, but because there are so many others, sometimes already present in the series, real or fictional, that I would like to return. I mean: am I the only one who thinks that creating Silverstone just for GT6 was a waste, for example? Or upgrade, again only for GT6, Midfield and Apricot Hill?
