Im actually kinda nervous for this one.

The last update pd/sony ninja nerfed the dd extreme into a better dd pro. Which wasn’t an improvement as it introduced a whistle in the unit and a couple of other weird ffb bugs. Nothing catastrophic, but not exactly moving in the right direction. Especially for an expensive peripheral they get a cut of…

Just going to sit here with my fingers crossed for the next 48!

Was this leaked Urus footage posted already?

People have felt that way since the last few updates.
Not few… two actually, last 2023 update did have a new track.

And there are 2 updates per year with new track, there is really high chance we will be getting one soon. I think there will be new track in spring so they can bring second one till the end of the year.

I'm currently ready-ing myself for the update as I'm only missing 3 993 Carrera RS CSes that I'll turn into makeshift 993 GT2s and 3 GT Ones to ready this 1998 grid.

For now I'll be fielding 3 CLK LMs, 3 F1 GTR LTs, and 3 GT Ones while the GT2 class is mostly makeshift 911 GT2s and Viper GTS-Rs.

And looking at this replay I took from a test I did with those cars I'm just like imagining myself right now with the GT Ones present.

Hello.
Nobody knows anything aside from the car content until the reveal video on Wednesday.
MORE RACES?

MORE Singleplayer Events?

This is why our article, posted 53 hours ago and the first post in this thread, says the following:

These Tweets only reveal what vehicles are coming to the game in the corresponding update, with any other contents under wraps until closer to the time. We don’t yet know what to expect on that front, but fans have been calling out for more new track content, given that the last new road circuit location was Grand Valley Highway-1 in February 2023.

If the usual schedules hold out, we’d expect more information on Wednesday March 27 ahead of the update on Thursday March 28. Watch this space for all the latest information!

Man your life is in GT7 or what. 8 million for the CLK LM and 14 millions the F1 GTR

How many people waiting to replicate this :)

I'll take the Panoz Esperante GT1, R390 GT1, and Lotus Elise GT1 before the Lister Storm - as cool as that car is.

Man, what a cool era the second half of the 1990s was for endurance racing. More varied and interesting, IMO than the pure prototype racing that bookended it.
Yes. Furthermore, I hope that the TS020 will be categorized in Gr.2, even to open up opportunities for other vehicles to be added to the category in the future (since it is a very needy group), such as the Audi R8C and the Mercedes CLR LM. Of course, the CLR became a joke, but, in terms of laptime, the car performed well compared to its competitors. The Bentley Speed 8 could also appear in Gr.2. All these cars are very similar, I would even say inspired by the GT-One.

And then the last third track in Spring 2025 before moving completely to GT8, I bet?

Interesting results for each one

I scrolled through this entire thread, with all this GT1 talk, and no one mentioned the Lister? I expected more of my fellow GTP users. I'm sure Tiff is lurking here, looking on in disgust.

Now to flee before Famine kills me.
I get a lot of use out of the Lister Storm still in Assetto Corsa, love that car to bits honestly.

Results for the qualification times for the GT-One are only partially relevant as they followed the philosophy to only do qualifying runs on day 1 of practice and use the whole day 2 for a race setup while everyone else set qualifying times on day 2 as well and they got improvements between 1.5 and 4 seconds in some cases.

The GT-One was easily the fastest car on one lap in both years, in year 1 beaten by reliability and in year 2 by fuel consumption (which was why they didn't dominate the race), 2 punctures and a crash.

In Fuji they lost mainly because they were slower on pitstops, had to change tires a lot more often compared to the Nissan whose Bridgestone tires were far superior and some early drive through penalties.

On pace alone the Toyota was not beatable by any car it raced against.

yawn Nothing I care about in this update; worst update ever.

That's how we do this thing, right?
Yes! 👏

Stating an opinion in this manner is 1000x better than someone who believes their opinion aligns with a majority group so they start a comment or reply with "nobody cares...."

Hello.

Nobody knows anything aside from the car content until the reveal video on Wednesday.

"Read the Article" ;)

Maybe I’m the only one but I find Motegi incredibly dull to drive. Straight, hairpin, straight, hairpin, etc. Of course I didn’t play GTs 4 to 6 so I don’t have the nostalgia like others.
heh you could say the same about Silverstone
that's why its good with faster cars - especially Super Formula and Super GT GT500

Good thing you didn't. The Motegi endurance in GT4 was 8hours with six cars! I loved it because I could use my WTCC tuned Accord Euro/Acura TSX.
Twenty cars on track would be so much better.

Aaand after this replay, and after that race with the GT-Ones present, I think that many of us need a cigarette. :sly:

I can't believe I missed page 7... yes, YES, this is the next most demanded* car!

*Disclaimer: The Daihatsu Midget II D-type '98 is the most demanded car among a small and vocal subset of Gran Turismo players (who uncontrollably grin and cackle in its presence) and may not reflect the wishes of the whole GT community. They are known to derail forum threads and post requests for the aforementioned car in Twitter replies to Kaz Yamauchi regularly.
