True. We are all used to a slow drip of cars. I guess it’s understandable that it lags behind, but 7 years? It feels like we are being conditioned to accept the PD norm. It is weird.
The funniest thing is it'll be available only in the new car dealership. It's not even made anymore! Heck, even Lamborghini doesn't have it as part of their press fleet anymore so my point still stands it was finished while GTS was active.

I scrolled through this entire thread, with all this GT1 talk, and no one mentioned the Lister? I expected more of my fellow GTP users. I'm sure Tiff is lurking here, looking on in disgust.

I wonder is there any real chamce of such a „low popularity” brands to be added. Like Lister or Panoz, they are in many games, but are they hard to license?

Lister seems fine to license, they're licensed for Ian Bells new game, GTRevival.

Of course, Bell could've bust his balls to bring them back, but it, at least publicly, didn't seem like any harder of a process than most brands.

I believe Lister's PR department is its owner, Lawrence Whittaker.

Daihatsu is in the game, if just for the strange car that the Copen is.
In a popularity contest I doubt they would win over other brands that are not present in the game, but I dont see the relation of license that should draw.
Of course, this is just my opinion, and even knowing a single person who always told me he liked it, I have doubts here.

I'll pay $100 for a pack of 50 used cars from GT2 and GT4, relevant and definitive iterations of each. Anything from an Alfa GTV V6 to a Dodge Neon ACR to a Honda CRX to a spattering of kei cars to a big ol Stagea wagon. Hell give me the entire lineage of the British model Ford Escort, I will throw money at it. Keep it coming.

So after Suzuki Escudo, Lexus LFA and now Toyota GTOne added, which car will be most demanded now? :D
Where is the Daihatsu Midget II?
It should be this one.

Edit: tree'd

This Urus, it's either the Chiron swap or the Aventador SV swap. The latter is underutilised and it would be fitting if the money maker could carry the final Lamborghini V12.

I doubt the SV swap would happen. It's only 100hp more than a stock Urus so it wouldn't make sense and the V12 would definitely have a lot less tuning options than a turbo V8 they could slap an ultra high RPM turbo on for crazy figures.

I'll take the Panoz Esperante GT1, R390 GT1, and Lotus Elise GT1 before the Lister Storm - as cool as that car is.

Man, what a cool era the second half of the 1990s was for endurance racing. More varied and interesting, IMO than the pure prototype racing that bookended it.

Thinking of a V12 swap for the An...I mean, Urus reminds me of a deleted scene from "Cars", where Lightning has a nightmare about waking up as a steamroller as punishment for his hooning around Radiator Springs.

You can just make a Spotify playlist and play that on the PS instead of the game music.
Yes, and that has been done, however I was thinking off something second nature to what I'm doing in the game, like I'd have to manually go and play certain music and then pause it for the racing etc.

I was hinting at having our own custom music added to the game's library and an 'on/off' tick box for what gets played with these songs in menu's and replays which would make the whole thing a lot easier.

I actually use the Bluetooth option in my headset to listen to stuff on the pc next to me, including using discord if I have to, whilst the main channel is going to the ps5 for the game. (SteelSeries)

It would definitely not be a priority for the series over getting the 'easy' stuff right finally, that being the race events and championships themselves being of a 'race' format with optional test/qualifying and the actual race using the clubman cup plus's AI model.

Sad thing is, that version doesn't even look to be the one you guys are getting. So the game has got the GT3 Evo 2019 (which can be turned into the 2022 Evo) but not even getting the road car its based on (At least not in this update). Man.

There should be more BMWs than Audis, and I say this as someone who doesn't care much for either brand. The brands that have made more and better performance cars should have more cars represented in the game.

BMW has been making sportier and better driving cars for the vast majority of the time both manufacturers have been around. The M3 is a driver's car icon that has gone through 6 generations, the 1M and M2 have been highly rated, the M5 has generally set the standard for large sedans/saloons, the 2002 and M1 are excellent sporty classics, the Z1/Z3/Z4 have gone through 5 generations, i8 exists, etc. Outside of the two generations of R8 and the hatchback-based TTs (which have never been rated as amazing driver's cars), there aren't any Audi sports cars and Audi's back-catalogue isn't filled with great driving cars.
There's a lot of subjective information there that doesn't really have anything to do with anything other than your personal opinion.

Audi has just as much motorsport provenance as BMW, and the fact of the matter is that BMW is way more thoroughly represented in game than Audi is. What you feel about them doesn't really have anything to do with it.

Still missing the current generation M3 - that would complete the game for me. Perhaps even in a wagon showdown together with an Audi RS6.
M5 is also missing witch i would take over any modern m3, to create more varity in the brand, an update with both m5 and rs6 would kick alive both brands.
