Along with the GT-One we’d need the rest of these.

The next three from previous GT games and a brand new to the franchise 333 SP.

I am still confused where will it go. Group 1 or Group 2. It fits both to be honest, but being paired with CLk GTR and F1 GTR would be the best.

Also I hope we will get new Neo-Classic championship events along side GT-One :)

Gr. 1. The 1999 model was built to LMGTP regulations which is pretty much the same as LMP900 and early LMP1.

If it were the 1998 model, it would be in Gr. 2.

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update Will Add the Toyota GT-One, Coming This Week

Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed on social media that the next update for Gran Turismo 7 is coming this week, with three new cars that will include an all-time series favorite vehicle...

The Lamborghini Urus Two-Tonne behemoth could be interesting, would dearly love to see another race circuit though.

Someone at Polyphony really loves them Audis. Just another day I realized there are not single 5-series BMW in the game. a "car enthusiasts game" without M5 is a bit lacking? Id prefer the E39. And im not even that much of a fan (it did take me this long to recognize them missing..)

Next week = the next calendar week; this week = the week coming up.

If it was posted on a Wednesday as "next week", I'd write "next week". However it was posted on a weekend, so next week = this week.

I dont know how it is in Japan, but in europe we use monday as the first day of a calender week. I guess somewhere sunday is the first day and saturday is last.

For me if one says "next week" on wednesday it most certainly means the week beginning on the first monday following the comment.

That' right. In Japan, sunday is the first day of the week.

Almost every update even in GT Sport had the silhouette teaser come out on Sunday with the same/similar phrasing, and was always released that week. It should be no different.

If only we could add our own songs to the game for the menu's, would love to convert the menu music to that of the older gt games.

I can still hear the gt2 version of the Toyota GT-one in my head! (the engine noise and that ott bov) Glad to see it making a return.

Purposeful championships with the ai of the clubman cup plus races would be nice to see. (plus ai for private lobbies) But will realistically have to wait and see if they bring that kind of stuff in the next game.
You can just make a Spotify playlist and play that on the PS instead of the game music.

Hopefully this means a decent le mans event to go with the new Toyota 👍🏻
In my dreams, I would like two events to come to Le Mans: one could be on the layout without chicanes and could involve Gr. 1 cars from 1980 to 1993, so as to include the various Gr. C cars; the other could be on the layout with the chicanes and have different participation requirements, perhaps also involving selected Gr. 2s (Mercedes CLK LM, BMW Motorsport McLaren F1 Longtail), possibly trying to prepare a special BoP. But as already said, it would be a dream.

What if we got Paul Ricard?

I mean, it’s another “French” circuit after the last one(even though it’s in the Americas). It’s a legendary circuit. Pretty much a test track when the GT-One debuted. It would be brand new to the franchise. It’s pretty much a GT circuit for GT3 and GT4 race cars. Categories that cater to the bread and butter Sport Mode races.

It could be very useful also for a custom GTWC replica race, and more.

Along with the GT-One we’d need the rest of these.

Oh yes, the 333 SP with its glorious V12... What a symphony!

Thats the thing. Where in japan "this week" on a sunday post makes total sense since sunday is the first day of the week, in where i live it wouldnt make sense as sunday is the last day and the very next day monday is already part of "next week".

Thats why he was using "next week" instead of "this week", because he wasnt posting on sunday as usual.

If we’re being silly then i want a box truck. 14ft reefers! ~ish. It’s a rear wheel drive torque-y clown show when empty!

Besides, they are in the dakar rally. Which frankly surprised the heck out of me. I’d totally drive one of those suckers in a rally. It would be bonkers.
At least with a reefer, you could keep your beer and ice cream cold. It gets hot out there.:)

Glad you agree, I guess.

Posted Sunday October 29th for an update on Thursday November 2nd:

As I said in the post with which you already agreed, once the weekend hits "this week" (the week that is coming) has the same meaning as "next week" (the week that is next).

It would make so much sense for PD to release a '99 Gr.1 & '98 Gr.2 version of the GT-ONE.

There maybe some minor visual differences between the two cars, but I think most players would be content with the same model in Gr.2 specs.

Same goes for the 911 GT1 Evo, the road car is visually identical to the race car, other than the interior. Even if PD can't access a race car, I'd be happy with a generic race interior so the car can be brought to Gr.2. That also goes for the R32 GT-R NISMO, RS500 Cosworth, E30 M3 Evo, 190 Evo II. I don't need historically accurate race interiors - PD can make their own 'Touring Car' versions of the race cars.

Even in period many of these older cars where built by different preparation companies. So very few are alike anyhow!
