I don’t know but I thought these Updates ARE actually Free Updates, as I didn’t know or knew beforehand what the Updates include which would mean they were promised/said to be in the Game but weren’t.
So what exactly is it I’ve bought?!
Is there some List available which you own where I can see exactly what I’ve bought?!

So I actually know what is coming and what to expect.
Otherwise it’s Free content for my Understanding as I haven’t read anything about it.
Would be nice if you could provide the Info Sheet 🙂
You (and I, and everyone else) bought a clearly unfinished game, and it is through these updates that the game is presumably going to be fleshed out to the game it should have been at launch. We paid for these updates when we paid AAA title price for a glorified demo.

I wish we would get some more used cars too at the dealership - many more to be accurate - and we need some type of extension or enhancement of the Collector Points level to be coupled with lucrative and [rare] in game bonuses for incentive, no? Hitting level 50 and adding on useless points thereafter (apparently for no reason) doesn't make much sense unless they are working on something to apply these (collected) points to afterwards. I mean there has to be something beyond reaching 50 and forever adding on points to no avail... right?

I also wish we would get some of the old GT4 Race cars back to purchase in the "Legends" area. I know they'd be expensive but would love to see these cars in their fully rendered glory, like the old Chevrolet Camaro LM Race Car, RX-7 LM, all of the old JGTC cars with their great liveries -- ALL of the old LMP1&2 cars like the Pescarolos, the Pagani, Panoz, all Audis, BMW V12, Alpine, Bentley Speed 8, and of course the 88C-V and TS020 to name a few. And oh I wish we could get some of the old tracks back like Apricot Hill, Grand Valley, and Seattle. Why is Silverstone absent?

On another damper note sort of speak there appears to be a glitch that continues to persist around the brake calipers. When I create a style lately and bring it to the floor to share -- yes you guessed it -- the brake calipers magically turn a different colour.
Like the calipers on my RS which have suddenly turn blue when ready to share :boggled:

Calipers should not be blue when sharing style >>

Not to detract from the issue with the calipers but the front license plate is incorrect on the car. California plates do not have the month and year tag on the front plate. Perfect and well done for the rear plate though.

You're watching the style on a stock car in this view. Brake caliper color only changes when upgrading the brakes. Share a style of a car with a racing exhaust and then look at the exhaust in the preview, it's the stock one.

PD, please implement GTS lobby features to GT7 lobbies ASAP! This is ridiculous. Save settings and kick people are desperately needed.
Being able to kick people was literally the first thing they added to lobbies after the game's launch...

So 4 updates and still only one recent road car, and that was only a BRZ clone.

Gotta start wondering if the latest models people want are actually going to appear. At 3 a month even if they do, it's going to take a while to get a good selection.

I host all the time in GT7. Booting people is easy. Saving settings on the other hand - is perplexingly missing.
Also need the ability to add more than one category if the host wishes. For instance, if running at Nür, Spa, Daytona 24, or Laguna one should be able to select Gr. 1 and Gr. 3 cars to be on track or Grs. 1, 2, and 3 if you wish. Why isn't this possible? Seems so simple to implement from a layman's viewpoint.

Also should be able to force a pit stop just like some daily and other regulated races to mix things up rather than just turning on fast deg, required tyre change, or fuel depletion. Why isn't this possible as well? Small things that boggle the mind but I still love the game. Just needs some more fine tuning.

Update is free = people complains.
Sometimes, in some games, you need to pay for some additional content.

Sometimes, in some games, you don't have to pay for some additional content.
Think of it less as free additional content, and more overdue content that should have been in the game when we bought it.

They leaked a whole raft of content including a Hypercar Championship way back when the game was shiny and new, and we're still waiting for it. It's already reached that point where I only dip in once a month, play the handful of new races they've given us, and bow out again.

What the game really needs is GT7 Spec-II with a proper championship system, races that include all of the car classes, more chance to use the cars we've collected and some sense of progression for single player.

If PD hides the 918 behind a roulette ticket, they are quite stupid.
I hear ya!

I finally see a supercar I like within an update but we have to get through a roulette ticket.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be the most tragic event for the year 2022!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

As much as I love Porsche, the 918 is one the least desired cars to me personally. I'd rather have a classic 911, the 959, even a 924 is more desired to me.

Not interested in the skyline or an over-priced Maserati.

It will be interesting to see the value of the Maserati in GT7, but here is a link I found with some past auctions for Maserati A6GCS models for reference. Not all cars are the same, but it is still good to see what the value could be:

In addition, here is the link for the of the GT Award winner car when it was put up for auction in 2019:

I actually think it'd make a lot of sense for the 918 to be invite-only, but with that being said, who's to say we won't get a new bonus (or extra) menu in this same update where the reward is a Porsche invite?

EDIT: Maybe a new menu could even net us the 918 itself, rather than an invite. One that has us collect notable supercars/hypercars, since a menu based on the Porsche 911 has already been done. Or, it could be based on other Porsche models that aren't necessarily the 911, such as those that had success at Le Mans, including two cars with very similar naming schemes - the 917 and 919, with the 962 thrown in. A third idea would be focused not simply on the 911 like that earlier menu, but specifically on the 911 GT3, as there are indeed exactly three 911 GT3 models in GT7 at the moment.

EDIT2: I also don't see why a car that's required for an extra menu couldn't be a car that's also a required for a previous menu, as I very much recall obtaining the Toyota Corolla Levin for an early-game menu, then already having it marked off for the extra menu on the Toyota 86. I'm bringing this up because I think of the three Porsche 911 models that you're tasked with collecting for one of the "main" menus, only one is a 911 GT3, so I think a menu based on the 911 GT3 in particular could be very possible.

If the Skyline goes into any group it'd be 3 or 4. I suppose BoPing it to Gr.4 should be possible for PD.

But honestly I expect them to just add it like any other vintage racing car that just sits around useable for either one-make races or custom BoP lobby races with other, similar, cars of that era... oh wait, there are none! :dunce:
I’ll have to once again, use a purpose built race car, versus cars with less downforce(The Alfa 155 detuned, versus my E30s).
We’ll have the BB512, Pantera, CSL ‘73 and the 930T. I haven’t built a maxxed out Stratos to see how it fits in my mock Group 5 class. The 308 is lovely as well.

It’ll be interesting how they fair, versus the stock Skyline.

I really, really want more high-paying races to grind out. Doing the same few over and over again is getting old. Having a large variety of cars in your garage helps, but still...
I wouldn't be surprised if it never happened, but adding one high-paying race to nearly every track in the game would make grinding way more fun. Giving them all different PP and car type restrictions as well, of course.

I've never been in a crowded lobby yet to need to kick someone. I've hosted many leagues and lobbies in GTS. My bad for not noticing that
Also, not a fan of the amount of Hagerty. I like they do add them, but they're too expensive. I guess this game will that least give us more bitch threads.

What about Sophy? Getting really tired of the garbage AI brake checking, PITing, and weaving to block with zero repercussions. At least they could add some forward missiles or 007 tire shredders to the tuning shop in the meantime.
We haven't even seen Sophy in action in GT7 yet, the last we saw (as far as I know) was Sophy ripping up the ring and making a joke of PDs track limits again. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
