I don't know but it's seems to me PD cares more about Scapes than anything eelse. I don't think there has been one update with some new scapes. Maybe that's what most of their team works on.
They're likely very easy to produce. I'd bet they have a whole catalog of them that have yet to be released.

  • Instead of nerfing the PP adjustments, they're going to nerf the PP requirements. Something tells me the Sardegna, Sarthe and Spa grinders will become 730 PP, 630 PP and 730 PP events.
I'd honestly love this. We'd finally get to use Gr 3 and 4 cars at their "proper" PP in long races.

Saving Gran Valley which was apparently ready like 2 updates ago for another time, which isn't even interesting, could not give a toss about it if it isn't a real track, they really have nothing going on after this on the near term it seems.
And of course saving the Chiron, Alfa, Vantage and other newer cars for 2024, triplicate GTR and Miata will do.

It isn't hard to release a plan, Kaz just doesn't want to. He wants to make everything cryptic with no transparency at all, he believes in keeping all the plans to himself. Why? I don't know.

Maybe this is some old fashioned cultutral thing.

Glad the Merak is the SS model. I hope a Bora appears at some point. Than I can have dream race grid including them and Ferrari's 246 GT and 512BB, Lamborghini's Muira and Countach and De Tomaso's Mangusta and Pantera. A collection of 70's, Italian, mid-engined, exotica. Just to my liking. 😘
Á Bizzarini or Iso Grifo would make it perfect👌

Just being curious but how would this be a good thing?
It wouldn't be a good thing for the grind itself but it'd make the races more interesting by leveling the playing field.

For instance I want to race Gr4 cars against Gr4 AI but most of the cars can't reach 700pp without a ridiculous tune that kills the original character of the car.

I for myself always seen it as something good, I like to be surprised and I think I would prefer to do it in á similiar way.
But you should also realize when there is the time to put this aside, and it is the time when you release a game in a underwhelming way with not enough content and especially a feature that is said to be in the game but actually isn’t. And when you then promise it to be „soon“ included, you should at least give here and there an update if it’s on its way and a timeframe. It isn’t appropriate in this situation to proceed with this way of communication.

I do admit that I still find the new cars neat, and I look forward to any new menus and engine swaps. But I do hope we get a new set of missions this time; it's been a while since we last got a new set.

If GT simulated the Merak SS, it wouldn't last a single lap (around Northern Isle Speedway)

The fact GT is now relying on monthly updates to gain any attraction is absolutely shameful.

And no, it's something no new car, no new event or new scape could ever fix.

With today's technology, a 458 Italia engine can turn a turd into gold.

It did cross my mind and as much I would like their inclusion they are front engined GT cars. Let's go full quirk and add the mid-engine ATS 2500 GT instead, which designed in part by the same person.

I've become fast enough to get most of the Gr.4 cars, and half of the Gr.3 cars, to work at Sarthe and Sardegna on normal. That said, the Red Bull Junior can almost make it to lap 8 in the dry at Sarthe (something no Gr.4 car can come within 2 minutes of doing, even those above 630 PP), and the 2008 GT500 cars can do Sardegna at least a minute faster than the Gr.3 cars (even those above 730 PP).

If it comes to pass, it will be just another three kicks to the plums.

I forgot to mention that only 8 of the 32 Gr.4 cars are under 630 PP, and 13 of the Gr.3 cars are over 730 PP.

Which raises another question:

If there's only 15 people working on this game, then what the **** are the other 285 doing? GT8 already???
I would hope that's what the rest are doing, because the amount of content being released is anorexic.

I'm pretty sure Sony's videogame devs aren't able to just come in to work and do what they please when they please.

So hopefully the small content updates correlates to them working on the next title after all.

...except datamines and leaks exist that might have potentially spoiled your surprises (however accurate or not they are).

Can't wait for PD to finally show us a new track at the GTWS Finals next month only to make us wait a 2 whole extra months for it while releasing 100 new scapes in the process

All without the inherent smoking hazards (Unless you decide you want your brakes really well done).

Pal of mine made this masterpiece of a livery that i think fits well with our discussion topic

And there's definitely not more than that, keeping more tracks (or other content) for more than one update would be insane.
Yes, wouldnt it? But thats whats happening. I have said this before, and I have been laughed at. But here we are.

All this content was done pre release. They are not working on this game anymore because its FUBAR.

You dont wanna believe it, but look at the patches they release. Its a joke. There are no real fixes. No roadmap. No real adressing of the games issues. Nothing. Just these wildly uninteresting cars at astronomic prices.
