That means the road cars can now run on Sports Tires if I want to, in Custom Race?

Sweet! No need for all of them to have RH tires in order to race fairly.

Changed the conditions for mechanical damage occurring from a collision or contact if 'Mechanical Damage' is set to ‘Light’ or Heavy’ in the Race Settings. As a result, cars are now less likely to sustain damage after hitting a track wall or other obstacles.

I suppose it's a revert of the post-wallriding scandal damage settings? Some people complained it was too heavy.

3. Sport
 - In Daily Races and Championships, it is now possible to select the Styles of an Event-Specified Car. Please note that while it is possible to open the Car Settings menu on Event-Specified Car with Styles, only the tyres can be changed;

Nice touch, I guess, though there goes the ability to distinguish who rented and who have the car.

If you put somehow fit a thick Detroit burger in one, why not.
Bigger question is, do I go Big Mac, Whopper? or a phat Angus whatever Hardee's calls it this week's special?

Edit: In regards to the Historic event. Will we see the return of the legendary Carerrabus?

Wow. One of the most breathtaking updates in a video game. So promising. Can't wait

We get a new Nurburgring race at least but I expect the payout to be low and the car options to be tiny and the rain to be plentiful.

welp... here goes my hopes for loads of new events...

At least we've got new Group 1 race...

4. World Circuits
 - The following new events have been added to 'World Circuits':
  ・Historic Sports Car Masters
   - Spa-Francorchamps
   - Nürburgring Nordschleife
   - Goodwood Motor Circuit
  ・Gr.1 Prototype Series
   - Fuji Speedway
  ・Silvia Sisters
   - Tokyo Expressway – South Clockwise

EDIT:
This is promising:
5. Custom Race
 - Rival cars selected via 'Rivals Settings' > 'Rivals Selection' > 'Select from Garage' will now use the appropriate tyres as per the Race Settings, regardless of whether you own the tyres for that car.

I agree with your sentiment. When I saw someone with an F1 GTR and a custom livery, I always gave them a mental golf clap for ponying up the credits to buy. However, this will help me. No reason really to buy many of the gr.2-4 race cars now that I can rent and run custom liveries. I’ve already bought my favorites that I like to use in the SP content

How hard can it be to just add new races.

They are killing their own game.

Not a single Championship released, forget a meaningful 8-10 race event like the Super GT, DTM, Super Formula.

How am I still playing this.

Like Millhouse and his Frisbee, playing the same thing alone over and over.

TBH I always thought there wasn’t enough data to speak of a pattern.

Now we know.

Here’s a pattern: Once a month PD will let us down.
And you are/were right!

Disappointed because there is no new track and nothing about lobbies - almost sure kilometers done in qualifying still don't count!

PD should really do some kind of a pop-up message in game when there's a maintenance, instead of the error message. Every update there is a maintenance and still every update there are people who make angry posts and videos how they can't connect to the game during said maintenance.
