Cost of the extra books:

NSX
NSX-R '92: ~450,000 (overlaps with Extra Book 2, so nothing if you already done that)
NSX-R '02: 500,000 (if purchased new)
NSX '17: 230,000
Total: ~Cr. 1,180,000 (730,000 if you already done Extra Book 2)

Silvia
S13 K's: ~65,000
S14 K's Type S: ~60,000
S15 Spec-R Aero: 68,000 (if purchased new; given in Menu Book 18)

Also it has come to my attention that the search dropdown on the website goes only to July update.

Kaz: "I don't want people to repeat the same events over and over"
Also Kaz: ****s around for 6 months after that, adds only 3-4 high paying events that people repeat over and over
Also Kaz: "We would really appreciate it if everyone could watch over the growth of Gran Turismo 7 from a somewhat longer term point of view."

In other words: Go **** yourself.

So they add only five races and of course one of them is yet another at Tokyo whilst other more popular tracks remain almost empty. Oh and of course they reward peanuts. Can't have the grind being fun and varied can we, people will be less tempted to buy the MTs.

They really are taking the wee.

Well, the custom race change is good. Still can't stand doing them because you can't turn off the AI being scripted (i.e. leader pulls away from the others in the beginning, 2/3 of the field completely gives up when you pass them, some of the ones that don't give up are given catch-up even when boost is turned off), them just being slow even for an average paced player like me, and stupidly low payouts.

3. Sport
 - In Daily Races and Championships, it is now possible to select the Styles of an Event-Specified Car. Please note that while it is possible to open the Car Settings menu on Event-Specified Car with Styles, only the tyres can be changed;
Where is the option to do it, anyway? I tried looking in the pre-race menu, no dice. The color chooser also doesn't give me any option.

You know, I wouldn't be half as bothered by the abandonment/drip feed if you at least got one free copy of each car in the DLC. Adding stuff that requires way too much grinding of a paltry economy is just so alienating to a lot of people.

If they gave everyone the cars, there genuinely would be zero reason for people to play the game each update, since the number of new events is so anemic every time. Frustrating. They should be added to arcade mode at the very least.

I also like how they list a "Main feature" of this update as adding some liveries that they then straight up tell you were only added for use in an event most people can't even enter.

New colour variations for the following three cars have been added to the Mazda Showroom, for use in the 'Mazda Spirit Racing GT Cup 2022,' an online event only available in Japan
I mean, er, thanks? Obviously you can still use the car and livery elsewhere, but it feels like a bit of a slap in the face to advertise an event you can't enter.

They don’t want players to miss out. :sly:

New races are good fun...I tuned up a 1989 Corvette and destroyed the old cars. Nurb full lap was enjoyable along with the race at Spa.

Gr.1 Prototype race I ran the F-1500T-A car with RH and fuel 6 lean for race. Front car is Wilk who drives the Peugeot Gr.1 car and is quick. Bizarrely, he pits after 6 or so laps and then again on lap 9 so what was a small lead quickly became 30 seconds...oh well, I'm not complaining lol.
Just pitted and swapped to RS tyres....track gets wet at the end and the AI slow down a bit.

This update has truly demoralised me. Still no selling, no new track, no seasonal events, more pointless PP changes, more events at Tokyo when Monza and Bathurst are literally starving for them, absolute refusal to communicate with the fanbase...

Might have to take a break from this mess. God knows what happened to the PD that was updating GT Sport.
