What you're not getting is that nobody is disagreeing with you. Nobody likes online always single player games. We agree that it's going to make games unplayable in future and that obviously isn't good.

We are just telling you it's incredibly unlikely that they'll change it because it would be a complete rewriting of the core functionality of the game.
Well, in the hypothetical case that it is not possible, at least they could have also made another version of the game, one in which the permanent connection is NOT necessary

Is it just me or is ffb and feel through steering well completely ruined!

With my current settings on my fanatec GT DD pro. The recent updat has completely ****ed the ffb.. it feels so dead an plain where previously i could feel the wheels load up with understeer… why did they mess with this part of the game?

You're relatively new to GT, I'm guessing.

They might well be, but I'm not, and I don't think being new to the game has much to do with the observation of negativity in the "community". The choice of people that don't like something continuing to participating in it's community is what makes the community about as welcoming as a burning bag of dog vomit to those who actually are new to the game. Granted, this is a feature of internet discussion that's not unique to Gran Turismo.

As they've made what seem like quite significant changes, this is to be expected.

I know exactly where you're coming from, but you're right in saying it's not unique to GT forums, or even gaming. It's just the modern era of complaining and entitlement. It's a disease that we all fall to at one point or another.

Your posts always stand out because you choose to type in this ridiculous bold colour. A word of advice: Stop being so invested in this game. The majority of your posts are really negative. If you don't enjoy the game, take a pause and try it again later.

On topic: I don't mind just the three cars. I really like the game after the last update!
Man better just stop it, I know most is are a little disappointed, but what you are doing is just ridiculous. You just give this game a rest if you are so dissatisfied with it and come back in some months, maybe by then you can enjoy it. In the meantime maybe play something else or just do something totally different that distracts and stops you getting angry about a GAME

Who the hell are you guys to tell me what to do? I am doing objective criticism about the game. I'm a guy who's been with Gran Turismo from the start and always supported it. Even now I still have a tiny bit of faith this game can become truly great.

I didn't have high expectations of the cars or layouts. So I'm not bothered by what was added or not. But the content has been an absolute problem with this game since day 1. A lot of people completed all the events in the game within a week, some even less than that. Then, they had to wait almost 1 more month for more content, which again, it took about 2-3 days for a lot of people (8hr endurance races and some 30 minute single races), and again another 3 weeks passed by and they add... 3 Single Races?

I'm not "angry". I'm extremely disappointed. And I will keep talking about the negatives of this game because it's in the negatives that the game, any game, has to improve. The positives will stay positives and thus there's no discussion to have about them.

And for the record, I have been playing other games on my PS4. But what PD is doing with the content of GT7 has been pretty bad and this has to be adressed, and for it to be adressed, users have to talk about it and discuss it, not just be in ignoramus mode or act like the game is fine the way it is.

Heck, if you don't like "negativity" just go someplace else. This is clearly not the place for you to be if "I like the game" is the only thing you want to post here. People like you, who make these types of off-topic and nonsensical replies are the ones who should be banned for crap like this. It's outright insulting.

And I post in bolded green because it goes nice with the "dark mode". Just personal preference. You don't like it? Easy... Ignore mode is an option... and speaking of which...

What I don't understand is how they aren't adding lots more events, and quickly. Not a programmer - but adding extra events seems like a relatively simple thing to do

It can be a pretty simple thing to do, depends on the time you have and how many people are working on it. From one day to the other, adding events isn't that simple.
However, they've had entire weeks since to add propper events. Again, not acceptable. Those 3 weeks are enough for them to make the code, make the tests and add it to the game. If it were one person? Obviously it would take months, but it's not... This is a studio with a crapton of resources and backed by Sony.

It’s not being silly to some that don’t feel the need to do it quicker.
Remember, regardless which one you choose, they're all repetitious when it comes to grinding for Cr.
But hey, if you want to do things the hard way, your choice.

Loving the new physics. The GT350R was noticeable to me for being awful to drive before so that's the first car I took for a spin. Absolutely love it now, can drive at the limit with way more grip. I hate TCS and try to avoid it at all costs but prior to this update some cars were just too wild on a controller without TCS1.

Tried to increase max torque force?

Now i am glad they didnt touch T-GT II FFB :D

There is a clear overabundance of criticism on this forum. I don't understand how you can say this game lacks severe content. You might not like the actual content, but there's a ton of it. I have played 51 hours as of this moment and have not even touched the online gameplay. It's all personal preference. I played GT Sport for just over 600 hours which is exactly 25 days. That had way less content than this game.
No. The game has about a third of the amount of races GT4 did. It has half the events GT Sport did. The career mode can be completed after only a few days of casual playing, which is what I did.

If you haven't completed the game after 50 hours of playing, that's fine, but you could've gone through the entirety of GT Café in a fifth of that time.

Not to mention the complete absence of Gr. 1 and Gr 2. races for no reason.
I don't mind spending 80 euro's on something I play so much. One night in a bar and I spend the same, I'd say I am getting my money's worth.
I have enough money. It's not about the money.

You'd be silly to do it in 30mins when there's a faster alternative. 😏

Well, if I wanted to play Wipeout 3D I would, but I don't. An extra 10 mins for something that actually feels realistic is 10x more fun for me.

I'm only doing it once a day anyway to get my ticket and a little cash for future builds, I'm not one of those people rushing to get every car in the game, acting like the servers are gonna close down at the end of the summer or something...

It’s variety as well. Not doing things the hard way. I can use the GT300 Subaru versus other GT3/Gr.3 cars at Spa. It’s racing. Not just grinding. But hey, if some people just want to be shortsighted and only see racing as a grind, that their choice.

He isn't talking about being the hard or easy way mate. He's just saying that PD is not taking into account the Tomahawk being a "way to grind". Which let's be honest, is not legit, but of course, no hard feelings for whoever uses this exploit. Credits are hard to come by still. And it's on PD to fix this, which to my knowledge, hasn't been fixed yet!?

1.5 million in 1 hour for a Gr.3 race? I'd say it's pretty acceptable.

This could mean that when.... WHEN we have the Gr.2 and Gr.1 races (might be in 2023, we don't know), we could earn maybe twice that.
3 million for a Gr.1 Race (end-game) in a 1hour period would be pretty decent.

I would much prefer getting 3 million per hour in a Championship. Since a single race will bore people fast. Meanwhile, a championship with 5 races done under a 1 hr period is much more enjoyable, since it has different tracks and less laps per track than a 1 hour only race.
Hopefully championships aren't Café exclusives, or if they are, then PD needs to add more menus, quite a lot more.

Ok, well, one silver lining is whatever they did with the suspension/brake physics has changed my Turbo Herbie Beetle…

…into a weapon that will slay god on a race track, it’s already 8+ seconds faster per lap around Barcelona. I’m still adjusting to how much later I can brake and turn in while maintaining stability, so there’s probably even more in it still.

I had just given up on it and started a fresh on building up an old Golf to take on the AMG menu book. 1.13 might’ve just kept the dream alive.

You're moving the goal post, I referred to Cr. grinding.
Anyways, we're talking about different things here, not gonna continue this discussion.

And that’s the thing, I see some players are having fun with the Tokyo thing getting under 15 minutes. That’s what they want to do. If some want a break and want to actually race, an hour of something similar to real world GT3 is available.

GT4 released 17 years ago, in another time when there were only 3000 polygons on 1 car. There are 500.000 on 1 car now. Would you agree that it might take some more time to model circuits and cars these days and that your comparison is the same as oranges and potatoes..?

GT-Sport added tons of events after the release. It was pretty empty at the start. Anyway, I respect your opinion I don't need to agree with it :-)
