I already left my rant here in this thread, now I bring an honest question.

- Given the fact there's a to be announced track for GT nations cup event, what are the chances we get a new track in this update?

Somebody pour one for Mark, the man's going through it right now

Three whole months for this is just pure garbage. I was hoping that we might get the RS 4 (or SOME kind of Audi RS model), maybe a new McLaren, or at least the updated Vantage in some form, be it street, GT4, or GT3/E, but my hopes are absolutely dashed again, and all for three vehicles no one requested. This will be the third time that I skip a whole update due to the car selections being bad, the first two were during the September 2022 and 2023 updates.

More likely, the Jimny is the final Nations Cup car...with a custom suspension to replicate the late-'80s US-spec Samurai. The challenge next week Saturday will be to roll it twice and only twice.

Don't even expect a new layout, for example, nor a simple Watkins Glen No Chicane.

Why?

As they said, everything indicates that PD is in its final phase of supporting GT7.

First. SPEC II came out a few months ago, an update that traditionally indicates the final phase of support.

Second. Rumor has it that the GT7 will debut on PC this year. Sony's first-party games go to PC when they stop receiving content update support on PS5.

This is just someone who has looked up the Nvidia leak from a few years back, listed the remaining Sony games from it, and added TLOU2 (since it's an obvious port candidate). I'd put absolutely zero stock in it either way.

Did any of those concerned about the lackluster number of cars consider this means we're probably getting a brand new track like Circuit Gilles Villeneuve or Red rock valley which has been rumoured for some time now....?? We may finally get a classic Gran Turismo track back...

NASCAR, an F4 or F3 car, a caterham. C'mon Kaz add something useful.
Every car is useful,

You give up too easy ....just because it's not what you want doesn't mean others didn't ask for it, there are lobbies dedicated to VGT you know?? And less cars could mean a much awaited track is being added....like Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

3 cars that will only be used in time trials, or weekly challenges (for me anyway). I might give them a lick of paint though, to see if I can make them look worse (or maybe better.)

Following up the best update with quite possibly the worst update yet is the most hilarious unintentional troll job in PD history
Unintentional? It’s intentional.

The car lineup in Spec II was widely regarded as fan service with models like the LFA, 400R and 190 E. PD knew what they were doing adding those cars in the same update. So they likely also know what they are doing with this one.
