Edit: looks like points are really close for everyone! There won't be anything left on the table, that's for sure!

Not someone, Somebody I believe. I saw the two of you battling it out. I think he misjudged the final corner when I passed on the inside it seems. I want to thank both of you for letting me take the inside of the turn leading to the back straight which setup D4's eventual off.

From my POV, he slipstream ed behind me to gain ground on you Socal then probably over braked into the turn not leaving enough traction to turn the car leading to that off.

This exactly^^^^
Oh well, should not have taken that prerace nap, nearly missed the whole thing. Had a great battle with Socal and Rash, lots of fun. Tires were toast at the end. I pitted with Socal at 26 minute mark, picked up a little rf damage early on, and tried to make them last. LF was at 2.
Thanks @flip55 , great series.
Oh, did I mention I'm going to Sebring tomorrow?

yeah, when my system locked, it forgot I had SS tires, so I ran the whole race on SM.... at the beginning i thought "this may actually work due to the tire wear of the SS tires" and that it was just a mistake on my part, forgetting to change to the Softs and I i think for bit there i was gaining time round the 20 min mark, but then my tires fell off and it went back to losing around a second a lap. Then i pit, and i said "ok this SM thing isn't working need to change to softs" the menu popped up and no softs were available :irked: at that point most of the field was on my bumper, I pulled out infront of Kg, Flip, and Velo for about a lap, the drove around me, so i pit again and stayed there lol.

Funny thing was, I had SS for the Qualifier and the 15 minute sprint, so when I locked up, i didn't think to check if I had them again before the main race. we have also suspended our crew chief after a little "fracas" with the owner after the race had concluded, a full investigation is underway.

Sack the poor bastige... I mean in futbol (soccer for us Mericans) if you miss a goal someone might be waiting in tour closet with a .22 to waste you.

Just got home from Sebring to watch the finish on TV. I brought my daughters with me and they were exhausted from the heat so we left a little early. Great time though, my dad used to bring my brother and I all the time and this was the first time I got to bring my kids. I am now more found of participating rather then just spectating

Update post!

Firstly: Just keeping tabs on who's signed up for TC1 thus far. At the moment, we have 4 Mazdas and 2 VWs.

Mazda - WanganGhost (17), d4rizob (34), BC_BOYZZ (66), kgffy (49)
VW - draqua_fresh (99) and myself (92)

Nothing is finalized yet, you have until Grand Valley to decide on what you want to run with, but I'll be updating the forum with sign ups.

Secondly: Race distances. I think we'll go back to 20/60 for these cars. It's a system that I think is working really well, so I won't do much there.
The Nurburgring will be slight different because of how large the track is. The Main will still be 60 minutes, no change there. The Quali Race may be shortened to 15 minutes, just to ensure the race doesn't run too long (It'll be a two lapper, basically). These cars run, very roughly speaking, somewhere between an 8 1/2 to a 9 minute lap time on the big circuit, so I don't want a 20 minute race to turn into a 25+ minute race or something like that.

Thirdly:
I am thinking about implementing success ballast when these guys start up. I don't have a problem with it, I just wanted to see what the general consensus is for it. I would have to see how much weight can be added to the cars now, because some of them have ballast to get them up to weight. but if this is something we're gonna do, I'll figure something out.
I've had a success ballast system in place in the past, and I'll take a second to explain my system. Podium finishers in the Main Event will get a certain amount of ballast added (1st the most, 3rd the least) that carries over to the next race meeting. Ballast can stack from race to race, but there will be a maximum limit to the ballast that you can receive (say 60kg). If a driver with ballast fall outside of the podium on a subsequent Main Event, that driver will lose a small amount of ballast (say -20kg for 4th and below). It will be made clear what cars get weight and the amount after each round in a forum post.
I will only add ballast based on the Main Event results. Qualifying Race results will not affect ballast.
Just an idea, want to see what people think.

Lastly: I will be on tomorrow night for another session for these cars. Top Gear is still on hiatus, so I need something to do...

Still haven't figured out my car yet, I'm on the fence about 2 different cars possibly 3. I think the ballast is a good addition for this series. It made the last series very interesting with it plus gave us new faces on the podium throughout the series. :-)

I should have a good idea about my TC car after tomorrow, then I will recruit for Team IOUW Racing :-)

One more thing. What type of tire wear and fuel consumption are we looking at for the new TC series. This will play a big factor not only on my decision but I believe with BOP too.

Hej guys, still testing the cars, but for the moment I choose Mazda RX8 #18 of course.

TC1 will be my last series for now, since June to September in my work begin long vacations and I know that I will be doing two shifts, So, I will not have much time to race.

Hate to join the Mazda bandwagon but it looks like everything is pointing that way for me.

Ares want to team up?

This will be a first for me, but I'm going to lock out Mazda and cap it at 6 drivers. That's half our normal field.

In other news: I'll be on tonight to drive these cars. Join in if you can!

In all of the excitement, I forgot to remind everyone that Monza will be a Sport Hards only race. May be a fuel race this Thursday, being flat out most of the lap means a lot of usage.
