I completely lost my internet connection for about a minute on my end. Rebooting the system now...

Sorry for the double post.
watching the Nismo festival. Kinda ironic that a event dedicated completely to Nissan/Datsun, is at Toyota's home track. Fuji Speedway.:confused::confused:
Its like having a Honda Festival not at Motegi or Suzuka.

I'm going to need some help with the suspension settings on my car, otherwise I might not be able to continue.
Tonight my car didn't want to turn with the throttle on.. It would just snap straight ahead all of a sudden..
The strange thing about that is in practice last time it wasn't like that, and I didn't change anything..

On lap 6, the last corner, I rolled on the gas and it just went straight into the gravel..
If anyone has a replay and cares to look you will see.. And then again later, but into a wall that time..

Wow, that sucks. I'm going to bed now but I have a replay and will check it out tomorrow. @miata13B can set you up.

Bad luck for me, the second DC since suzuka race, probably I will have to check with my internet provider because something too often my internet connection is lost.

Congratulations to Veloci 👍👍👍

I can try to throw something together for that car. I noticed the 86s can be a little unpredictable with understeer, I'll see what I can come up with.

That is the main reason why I steered away from it. I know Ned asked to help help out but my hands are tied right now with 3 race series going on. I'll try to iron something out for you, but my best advice is to ask @VELOCI_2NR if he could help guide you a bit buddy.

He owes me one for the Abarth anyways ;-) that would be a debt repaid if he helps you out :-)

Yea, I'll be more than happy to give you my setup, @euclid58 . some of it is the car that's naturally that way, but I'm trying to get it fixed. My current setup is the best I've gotten out of it so far and it served me well at grand valley :) Shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up

Thanks... In the mean time I'll start fresh with the chassis, and needs a new car now too..
One thing I didn't do was stiffen the body, and they say to do it with this car, I've never liked to do it though because most of the time it makes the car too stiff.. and then ruins the car.. This time I'm willing to do it because of how bad it was Thursday.. Still scratching my head though on that one, it was weird.. To the point it made me wonder if was actually the car, but rather something else..

good fun on Thursday however I did have a situation after working on my tranny settings when I got in the room all the settings had changed!!:banghead: tried to get them set from memory before quali but that did not work. I was not on the pace at all in race one and I want to apologize for getting in anyone's way or causing and issue in race 1. got a decent setup for race two and had a good scrap with Ghost for quite a while. all in all good race as the civic has the pace on the straight for now. on to the hill that has a couple of good straights!! good times!

:gtpflag:

I'm heading to Laguna raceway for my mountain bike race early Friday morning, if we start right on time with out any hold up I should be able to make it, if not gl this Thursday.

I'll hopefully be there tonight... just a little eye candy for everyone or eyesore for everyone a little progression on my track car :-)

Wiring harness almost out, sound deadening is next on the list. Then an extreme amount of sanding to do before the roll cage is going in :-). Before I parked her for the make over she hit 368.6 whp on the dyno. The sad part is going to be changing over all the electrical work then going with a different Ecu setup, been eyeing the new AEM infinity setup but not sure if I am going to pull the trigger on it.

So... What is it? I think I see a lawnmower engine in there?? ;)

Looks like a Honda, is tha a Chump/lemons?

2.2 liters of maximum performance shouting out in the night like a squeaking mouse caught in a trap .

Well yeah it is a lawnmower powered machine that used to terrorize all the yuppie rich people in the area on track that thought they could drive. Couldn't tell you the amount of porsche guys in my area that could not drive a car for the life of them at even 7/10s their potential.

The Chump/Lemons car is actually sitting in the other bay of the garage right now. That is a 2001 Kia Sephia lol. That right there is a '92 Accord that is having a major overhaul done to it. Only about 10 hours into what I think is a 200 hour job. She probably will not see the track unto summer of next year. I have a lot of basic things I am taking care of now along with the future plans on the setup for it.

Going through everything I tossed up the notion of dropping the engine into the passenger area behind the driver seat but depending on my resources after sending the block out for the major work and cost will dictate whether I will keep it FWD or turn it into a MR car.

Well.. clearly the due diligence was not put in by me last week..
So.. I'm paying for that double time this week, and slowly working out the kinks..
One step at a time...

Keep at it JT, you'll get the car where you need it :-)
