Can't you read? Thats a Greddy (have never heard of that brand). A Datsun 240Z is a Datsun 240Z and nothing else.

I'm sure the Fuguz being a 'Greddy' manufacturer was all a slick licensing deal on their part. They did create the body kit, after all

Welp, as anticipated this update was a bust for me. I'll admit the Tokyo tracks are better than I thought they'd be, but I still don't like them at all and will never choose them again once I've completed the campaign races. Really really really not looking forward to the Tokyo Endurance or F1 races at all. I thought I'd enjoy the Circuit Experience in Barcelona, but instead discovered I really don't like the Lambo :D. At least when I finally got gold, took too many tries, I got a new car out of it - Vulcan. A few of the new cars look interesting, but with nowhere to use em I wouldn't know. I've bought the Trans Am as a tribute to the late Burt Reynolds more than anything else... McLaren looks fun....once I can do something with it beyond a poorly paid custom race.

The sound could be a little better but overall they did a wonderful job with the p1 gtr.

gets my approval 👍:D
I strongly agree:

Sound is incredibly accurate: but the interior misses the quick spool and blow off valve "exploding" sound when decelerating or letting go off the throttle (even Driveclub did well: ) I think they should make that louder but everything else is good imo.

Also there is a texture bug on the reflection of the windshield that is behind the wondshield banner.

Vulcan, Veneno, Enzo, maybe some of the more hypercar-esque VGTs?

The Fittipaldi EF7 certainly qualifies as well

I don’t know why Polyphony is doing this, but the SRT Tomahawk X is getting faster and faster with each passing update.

For point of comparison, I used to take T1 on the Blue Moon Bay oval at roughly 450 km/h without understeering into the wall, but now I can go flat out at nearly 540-550 km/h. The car has much, much more grip. I’ve yet to see the effects on other tracks, but this could make a sub-3:00 lap time at the Nordschleife possible.

This texture "bug" is to be found in many other cars besides the P1 GTR, I think it has to do with the way they go on with dashboard reflections almost as if it is planted on the windshield banners:

Mostly cars with black banners have this texture or reflection being "stuck" on the windshield.

Speaking of the Z, what's with the monster truck ride height?
As PD do, it's more sports car than the Mach Forty and CHC cruisers. The height isn't too bad. I just lowered mine. Also, adjusted camber in the front, to -3.5 and tuning the ARBs. Haven't set those in stone yet.

I'm not touching the power, weight or gearing. It's perfect for me.

Has anyone driven the BMW M3 yet? I don't remember how it drove in GT6, but I'd say the balance feels kinda off in GTS. Doesn't it? I find that it can barely hold a wide power slide in 3rd gear with sports hard tires, and breaking traction generally takes more effort than I'd expect from this car.

Just my experience, so don't take my suspicion of it being wrong as fact. Please share your feedback on the M3.

I don't think it's a bug at all. Shiny black vinyl windshield banners would reflect things as well. It's a reflective surface so it reflects.

Yes, textures are stylized like any others in GTS, but models are the same.

It's cool, because now is big chance that we will have XJ220, Regera, One:1 and other cool stuff

This is complete and utter ********. Stop belittling the insane amount of work some artist at PD had to go through to get this car into the game just because you feel like talking nonsense. PD has an extremely particular process they go through for each car in the game and it's clear this one is no different.

Hence why I put the (") on the word bug, I do not consider it to be a bug at all just it get's distracting sometimes.

The F50 is much more expensive than I thought at 2 million :grumpy: I prioritised buying it first but I don't have enough to buy the P1 GTR. Watching the videos above though, it's disappointing that PD doesn't get the BOV sound right. It is literally the signature sound of the P1. It doesn't give me confidence that they would get the sound right for a stock P1 if it's coming in the future. DC & AC are still much better when it comes to sounds.

The Tesla can be tuned in power :boggled: It's the first electric car in the series that can have power upgrades. Can't reach P100D power though sadly.

Fugu Z can go down to 150hp, which is roughly what a stock 240Z made :D Sadly it can only go up to 370hp, so no Devil Z replica possible :(

Tokyo South I agree is the best Tokyo layout. It's actually wide enough for side by side racing and you can take multiple lines in the corners without compromising your exit. It's weird that Outer is the shorter layout though. IMO Outer flows better but the chicane at the end ruins it. It's good fun jumping over kerbs and it makes good photos, but I'd rather they make the kerbs flat so it can be a true spiritual successor to the SSR11 death chicane. Inner layout flows less well but the triple apex section through the containers is a great place to do cutback overtakes.

Catalunya CE - the instructional videos lagged like hell when I went to watch it last night, and the Full Lap Attack doesn't even have one uploaded yet! Apart from that it's pretty straighforward but the Huracan is a lot more tail happy here for some reason.

All in all, pretty compact update for Christmas season. Hopefully January update will be the real deal being released in early January, combining both Xmas + New Year :D

Obviously not the same models.

Driveclub gameplay photomode - can see the lower polygonal mesh causing weird shading/shadows in Driveclub

The GT model has that 'Super- Premium' details, whereas the DC model looks 'Premium' from the PS3 era.

The model could just be sub-divided (double and split polygons) for smoother realistic surfaces and enhanced over just like just like the Premium cars carried over to GT Sport as DLC?

Any info about new server?
I'am from Brazil. ..My ping was 165 now is 19.

In Sport mode i see no more north amaericans too.

I completely disaegree, imo the sound is great, just needs a better blow-off valve sound and some fine tuning on the shifting.
Im actually very pleased with car, its absolutely amazing...

After quite a lobby session with @F4H Super GT i can confirm both layouts are quite fun. I was doubting the Fugu Z for a moment but boy i can see the tremendous potential for a N300
Maybe it's true they work better for hotlapping but with cars that can drift and keep up with the high speed turns of the track, it feels amazing.
(I have to post a video tomorrow of this Fugu Z madness  )

Well not to my ears. The basic engine note is quite close but still not 1:1 with the real one. The gear whine in GTS is too loud (just classic PD copy paste from other cars). The BOV sound which is the "signature" sound of the P1 series is completely missing, and that changes the whole character of the driving experience. The BOV is personally my favourite aspect of the car beyond even the looks and speed (compared to the LaF and 918 which both has very "clean" sounds in comparison), so it's very disappointing for me for PD to get this wrong.

This is what proper audio sounds like:

Compare to real life video above, taking into account differences in recording equipment, AC is practically 1:1 with real life:

I see PD also still uses automatic deployment for DRS as well
