The lower amount of cars, should mean more work go to gt7 at this point most likely. And for me thats not a bad thing. I like gt sport don't get me wrong, but i would drop gt sport in a heartbeat if i could get gt7 now
Have they mentioned if GT7 will include the equivalent of gt sport? More specifically daily races which is the mode I'm interested in.

I'm having some problems with my mileage after the update. It's stuck. I've done 3 races at first, but it counted only 2 of them and later on, I opened the game again; done a few more races. But again it got stuck at some point and counted only 3 of 5. So, now it says 190 kms driven today, but instead it should've been over 220 kms.

Ive not played yet but they added the wrong god damn Gordini, how stupid could they have been ?
Don't make broad statements without elaborating. Someone else made another entire thread about them using the wrong 962C and didn't even fully elaborate as to how..

While i would like to see it, i think the R92CP wrecks the 962 C.
But who knows, i might be wrong!
No, the R92 wrecks it. The 962 is 4 seconds slower than the other 4 Group C cars. Still, the 962 is an awesome drive. I'd love to join a Group C only League.

With BOP on , the 962 is exactly the same pace as the Mercedes Sauber C9 1989 on Le Mans.

Something else , in cockpit view , the landscape in the rear view mirors disappear after a range of 100 to 200 meters. Perhaps to run better some others graphics , I don't remember it was like this before 1.38

The GT League events don’t use BoP. You’re better off upping power to 720bhp which is still in the same ballpark as the real cars. The other Group C cars actually have 100-150bhp more than they should in standard form. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re nerfed to their realistic power levels in a future update.

With BoP they all have circa. 800bhp.

On the Nordschleife my best lap with the 962 was 19 sec slower than my R92CP & XJR-9.
The Porsche has lower HP, but drives way better in my opinion.

Damn no new tracktrac and a bunch of cars I won't use or even look at.

All the while in GT3 there are new Evo versions of nearly every real life car and a new McLaren 720S GT3 and a significantly different Aston.

Also in GT4 it would be great to have the actual real life McLaren 570S which is killing it in Blancpain GT4 and British GT championships.

I'll try that. Now I have to do all my real circuit Time Trials all over again. What a chore that will be. :sly:

As much as I'd like to agree, it takes time. The game just came out. Cars were locked in from 2015/2016. With only a handful from 2017(the RC f is the only "new" GT3 car).

M4 just came out, the Mustang just came out and the Jag, AMG GT and R8 GT4 cars weren't even teased yet. I think even the Camaro GT4 was just debuting when GT Sport was released.
The A110 GT4, is fresh. MAybe the X-Bow GT4 could have made GT Sport launch.

KAz said it was hard work to make the fictional Gr.3 &Gr.4 cars, that didn't exist in real life, for the manufacturers cup. Maybe we'll get the upgraded cars. It's going to take time.

I'm all for variety, but honestly, a Honda Fit Hybrid? And it's a 2014 model? Umm... wow. Typically Gran Turismo includes cars with significance -- historical, performance, technology, unique design, legacy/racing heritage, etc. Plus, there is a Fit Sport model! So I really don't understand why the Fit Hybrid is highlighted here. Ugh. Honestly I would rather see the 1886 Benz Patent Motor Wagen, but whatever... I should probably learn to appreciate the positives in this update and stop whining about the perceived negatives.

The Fit does actually have a very extensive competition history. There’s been a very popular one make series for it in Japan since the first generation. It’s also a very popular tuning platform (seemingly everywhere but America, sadly) because it’s actually got a surprisingly stiff chassis which responds extremely well to modifications. Honda really has put a TON more effort into the Fit platform than you’d ever think. I was a bit skeptical of the hybrid at first, since you’d think the RS would’ve been the more appropriate choice, but after doing some laps and stiffening up the suspension quite a bit, I really do love it and I think that I prefer it. It’s got good torque, and I feel like the engine response is pretty immediate, too. Plus I love managing the battery to try to keep it in the power for as long as possible.

But, I also built like seven Insights in GT6, so what do I know XD.

Five new tracks and the added bonus of....

Drumroll....

....the servers being trash and potentially now having to re-download aaaaaaaaaall the liveries I once collected from the community once they fiiiiiiiiinnnnaaalllly fix this horrible mess if they can't restore them.

A little peeved. Anyone else had their livery collection wiped away to Narnia?

Don't underestimate the performance of otherwise regular cars.

According to the in game bio, the Fit is a 7-speed auto. Not the CVT like my girlfriend's non hybrid Jazz.

It was loading in patches earlier but no more. Other selection screens are a little better than this afternoon but not slick.

I downloaded a couple of liveries now and they didn’t show up. But liveries on my cars remain. I assume they’ve just switched off this feature while they sort things.

Got an info of the AE86 scanned by PD staff. He is lucky to get his car in game 👍

Also, someone managed to take a shot on 962 chassis number. Anyone know which spec it is?

There's no 962-100 that I can find, or should exist. That chassis number plate is an error and probably should be 002, 003, or 004, most likely based on what they've modeled for the game.

16 werks cars were built with 001 to 016 being their chassis numbers. Customer car chassis numbers started with 101 and went to 177. Through various incidents, crashes, etc, some chassis numbers were changed, but none given 100.

So it appears I've overlooked the fact that that The Fit Hybrid has an Atkinson cycle motor, and thus less torque than the standard versions.

With that said, the torque band looks pretty flat and it does have 7 adjustable gears to work with. Seems pretty interesting.

What's this all about? Is the update causing issues?

I opened my PS4 this morning and let the update happen then went off to work for the day so I can come home without waiting. Was there a "bad time" to update?

Don't forget it had the best MPG in it's class at the time, so we may be able to surprise and pull out some no stop victories with it while all the gas guzzlers have to pit!

Happened to me too.

Granted you still have battery to pull through.

The moment you lose all your battery power, you instantly lose 20 HP from the car. For an N100 car, that's a lot.

But overall the Fit, is really really good, and dare I say it,

it has more driving spirit than the AE86.

There is no chassis 100 on racingsportscars either https://www.racingsportscars.com/type/Porsche/962.html Is it possible that car #100 is an unraced test car?
