I am appaled by the whining reactions like "No new track...digusted"...

Sure it was fair to expect one, but it's not a huge letdown to only have new cars. (+Goodwood kind of confirmed in the glitch ).

My main disappointment is in the abuse of gr.X.
The Gordini could have easily gone in N100, especially with the Alpine A110 already in this class.
At the same time, Gr1 gets at least 3 generations of endurance racing cars that do not compete with each other + fantasy cars...
So many cars are just cosmetic additions, or condemned to one-make races because of this choice...

Yes, the 962 is great and all, but how can a mundane car like the Fit be soo much fun? It's a small 5 door hatchback that doesn't have a tonne of performance, rolls about and has a low top speed. Yet it was delightful to drive around Miyabi. You aren't going at dangerously high speeds to find the limit of the car, and I think that's what makes it fun. Same for the AE86, a car with true character. This update reminds me that going slow can be fun, and we should cherish the everyday heroes of motoring. Oh, and the legends of motoring too.
Yup. Driving a slow car fast is way more fun than driving a fast car fast...

Couple of things I noticed with the AE86:

-There's a blue-ish dashboard option by picking the silver paintjob when you're buying it, thank God because the red dashboard looks tacky as hell.

-I'm getting used to the digital gauges, not what I wanted but whatever, it's better than not having the car...But the ajar that comes up when the "shift" light turns on is annoying after sometime.

-It's painfully slow...I kind of expected it but Jesus Christ, that was a reality shock, the Gordini feels faster...Gotta work on the power output and transmission, some weight reduction is needed as well because the thing feels heavy around corners.
(I'm running normal tires for easier drifts)

-Lots of Initial-D injured liveries for it, with the wheels, plate and everything...I picked one without the lettering on the sides as I was never a fan of them.

DEJA VU!!!!

P.S.: The Gordini is AMAZING!

Is it me or is the Porsche deeply underpowered? It should something along 700+/800 horsepower but the option lists a "mere" 612?

Can't wait to put my hands on every car tbh this month has quite the hidden gems

To explain this again... the car is actually a 1985-spec car with a high-downforce package + race-spec engine tune, typically used to last 1000km or 24hrs.

The reason the other Group C cars in the game (Jaguar, Mercedes, Nissan) have more power is that they appear to be running their quali-spec, none of these cars will have raced with anything over 650bhp and the 962 will have run 750-800bhp in quali-trim.

The R8 back in play and a Porsche 962, this is one of the best updates ever! Have a great day and enjoy the new content, plus the leak of the Goodwood circuit is great news. I built several versions in GT6, trying to match corners to the slight changes in topography of the real track (St. Mary's is in a little dip, that's about it). Fun, high speed corners and the treacherous front straight chicane.

I ended up buying the Fit and Gordini and took them around the Nordshleiff. Both a blast to drive. The Gordini was alot faster than it looks. The Hybrid feature of the Fit was cool to. I killed the battery pretty early on my lap though and there isn't much places to recharge it on the Nordschleiff. With battery I could get it up to 180 KM/h but when it died I'd hardly get over 150 KM/h.

The everyday cars were always so fun in the old GT games. Like the Honda Accord, the 20 civics, the sunfire, Protege, tiburon etc. And not to mention THE MINIVANS, STATION WAGONS AND SUV'S!

Ok but why would they include the race tune for one, and the Quali-tune for the others? This would be so much funnier to have a balanced group C category!

Yeah i thought people knew it was gonna be slow. Lol
I rremember a test where you were forced to drive the car on SS5 on rain and it was slow and so hard to drive ha

I apologise if this has already been posted, but I discovered that the TRUENO decals can be re-added to the mudflaps through the ‘other’ option in the livery editor. Particularly useful if you want to add a custom plate but keep all the original decals.

Probably depends on the state the cars were left in when they scanned them, in historic racing they don't need to race anything longer than 45mins to an hour usually so they can get away with running the quali-tunes. Could be that the version scanned for the game isn't used for historic racing but more as an exhibit/show car.

Haven't played GTS for a few months but, having seen the contents of the latest update, I am going to start grinding some races to raise some cash: I want that 962C!
