The allocation of initial car seems to vary from one console to another. Two different accounts on the same console receive the same cars, but receive different cars on different consoles.

Well, one account i signed up with gets this instead of "access denied".....

Get something like that when i've applied for the PS4 beta fw trials and i log into the beta forums for it before i get the actual key, so guess i'll see.

This is true, but if you were in Kei cars, they would not be on the limit through those long sweepers. The BoP and different tunes on cars, with some people able to go flat or nearly flat while others are not able to manage it causes big problems.

I would LOVE running around there in a bunch of these, though. :D

When GT Sport comes out, I'm waiting for the Toyota S-FR at Tokyo WRS combo. That'll be a blast. :D

I think that's another problem - the track has way too many really fast corners. Not enough hard braking zones for good, clean overtakes.

But yea, smaller, slower cars would be much better.

You have a race time for Saturday, I would make sure you have a look at Sport Mode on your console at that time tomorrow.

I suspect you are going to be able to begin qualifying then, that's how it works for us. I might be wrong, so don't come looking for me if I am. ;)

Well it looks like at the least we're not getting a full day's worth of advance qualifying (so I came looking for you :P ).

This didn't register with me when it was announced, so it's probably not a unique insight, but the time given for "hosting of race events" starting tomorrow is 2pm BST, but then there's also a separate weekend schedule given, which starts at 4pm. Unless it's just a special arrangement for this weekend then that could suggest we'll get 2 hours of driving before actual races start.

Yeah, sorry about that.

Feel bad for you guys. But the good thing is, unless they do something silly for you, you should have 24 hour access from that 2 pm tomorrow forward.

Again, sorry if I got your hopes up. :(

Been at home the whole week and now I have to help the first team in a soccer match tomorrow at 3 pm cest! What a timing...! :ouch:

One thing that bothers me a lot, is people signing for the Beta with multiple accounts. People get so greedy. If someone gets chosen in his 2 accounts, that's one less person with access to it.

Got a code, but only got a message in my e-mail, no ps4 notification.
Relax. This "closed" beta thing sounds a bit fake to me.
It's in Sony's and PD's interest that everybody who wants to try GT Sport, manage to do so.
Just look at how many people on GTPlanet got the code.

Eventually, everybody will get one.

BTW I never had a ps4 notification either....only email and I guess that's how it's supposed to be (when you applied they told you they would send you an email)

This might happen because the beta tester forums are not online yet..?
They are online

I also got the beta but no access to the feedback forum (with the same account of course)

My starter cars are the Hyundai, GTR Grp 4 and Corvette C07, not bad I guess.

I think I will be focusing on the time trials though, if I race I'm going to drive very cautiously.

In the other EU Beta thread somebody mentioned signing up for "phase 2" of the beta or similar, anyone know what this means? I questioned this, but no reply.

The thing is, we don't know how many people were or will be left out of the beta. There's no proof that everyone is getting a code, so avoiding multiple accounts from each person gives everyone else a higher chance of getting it. It's just a morality thing I guess.

I mentioned only receiving a message on my e-mail because some people might rely on a notification on their ps4. Some people got both ways, some didn't.

I got the Evora (meh), the Mustang Gr4 (yay) and the Evo Gr3 (why though?). Could be better, could be worse. Would love the 458.

So I have signed up twice, once when it was first available to and again when the news about the EU beta emerged. So I thought lets try again, what harm can it do, now it comes back with error, SEN ID already registered, arrggh what does that mean!

Id like to petition a new emoji, there isnt one that quite captures my feelings, uncertain face little hand waving furiously, along with caption "Pick me! Pick me!"

:banghead:

Can I say that so far the car roaster looks "uninspiring" or predictable? I love the Alfa and Jaguar gr.3 race cars but the modern and focused car list make the game like any other car game. I'm still not sold on the online focus with modern cars.

Ok. But I've read there are problems with signing in. I too cannot join the forums at the moment.

Some have the same problems like you and for some others it works.
Do you guys have ct-p/c in the url or bd-p/b?
When i have ct-p/c it dont work for me but bd-p/b works

There were a lot of complains about GT5 and GT6 not having an up to date car list, so this is a significant step in the right direction. Not sure classic cars fit with the theme they're going for but I would like to see more indeed.

I want some more slower cars though, more hot hatches please. On the faster spectrum, I want V8 supercars and DTM racers.

:scared: This is what I don't understand. Ther is a strange PDC6. before every menu title. Hmm..

That is some nice driving from both sides.
The track seems rather boring though.
Well it's like oval racing. It's only fun if you and the competition know what to do. If you think professional drivers going in circles isn't fun, just think what a mixed field would look like.

Quoting myself because eventually there was an error message saying the dev team will investigate the bug..

Edit: I also reported the anomaly via the quick bug tracker.
