They always do that for any store promotion.

But last 2 "closed" software beta codes were sent between 2 and 3 pm CT though email. Not PSN inbox. (That is if Sony is controlling the beta release) If it's PD then who knows when. Could be at 11:59 pm tonight for all we know.

What's worse, is that trial/play sessions are also periodical.

As quoted from gran-turismo.com & PS Blog:

"During the initial phase, our servers will be open for users during specific times across the day."

Seems like availability won't become consistent until Phase 2,once Europe gets included. At least, I hope that's the case. Oddly, both PS Blog & GT's official site mention "GT.com", which isn't an official site at all. Might simply be an abbreviation, but it should be corrected imo.

The beta will begin at 2359 Eastern, so technically, that's still March 17th.
