largely due to the numb DS4.
That's where I think the problem lies. I'm using a T300RS, and the game definitely does not feel lifeless. I can sling the cars around and throw them in to corners, and I can feel some weight transfer. When driving mid-engined cars like the Evora, you have to countersteer to correct the oversteer when you turn in and brake at the same time. I definitely feel it's a good improvement from GT6.

I've yet to use my T150 (Need to buy a new seat since my years old cheapo one broke the other day) but I'll keep this in mind. 👍

Don't even get me started on all that's wrong with the Evora... :P

A wheel should not be the only way to actually get feedback from the car though. Other games can do it fine with a pad, and most players will be experiencing it that way. I can only compare like for like until I get a PS4-compatible wheel, but in terms of pad implementation, it could definitely be improved.

Are you sure you you have all assists off? As for me GTsport feels alot like how gran turismo has always felt... I have to say i think they have hit the nail right on the head so far. I do use a wheel though so maybe the difference sits right there.
I cant wait for my wheel to get here! I have to agree with you though I think GTS is going in the right direction, the physics feel good to me. It still has some ways to go but im really enjoying the beta. My favorite car so far is the Evora! Sounds great and handles great once you get the hang of it. One thing that bums me out though is no arcade mode, with the BOP you never get to drive the car in its true stock form.

What was PD thinking exactly when they created Northern Isle "Speedway"?
It looks silly in GT thanks to its amazing collision engine with GT3 race cars to showcase the track.
But, I guess it's not totally pointless : In race engine development, the staff with this role will be responsible for implementing regulations for real life racing categories included in Gran Turismo (GT, Rally, NASCAR, Etc.), as well as virtual races such as online events and mission races.

This beta is now a month and one week old, which is actually pretty long.

I'm starting to ponder if the full release is off by quite a bit.

It still baffles me what they would have been released back in November when I see the Beta in its currently Stage now.

I wonder if this release was already a place holder to statisfy people or I dont know... because they would have well known they couldnt target that Date at all when we see now how the Beta is.

He didn't get penalties or lose SR for exceeding track limits at 3:37, kerbs count as track so unless you have 4 wheels on the red you don't get a penalty.

Well, I've been penalized there for using too much kerb. I've recorded just about every race since my 5th day of playing so I'll see if I have any video examples, may take a few days to get it up, though.

What can justify that development time? I love all the extra features in GT like museum and scapes but so far, I don't see why they need so much time.

Sorry If this is the wrong place to ask this but are the races track and class combinations posted anywhere as they are updated. I'm not at my PS4 and I'm trying to plan my evening. Thanks.

It's just more evidence of the utter contempt they have for their loyal fans, "i'm not one of them" you can just imagine the meeting, "we'll just toss'em a bone with the beta, then we'll release it when we can be arse'd" just a thought.:D

I bet they'll be another unveil at E3.💡

I would have rather PD let us try this so called livery creator they promised, That's pretty much the only thing I am looking forward to right now with GT:Sport.

Today's schedule is:

- N300 at Brands Hatch Full
- GR.4 at Nurburgring
- GR.3 at Northern Isle.

Usual weekday times, 1800-2100 BST.

EDIT: Sorry, that's the EU schedule - didn't realise you're US. My bad.

I have also no idea yet, lets just hope the wait is worth it and that there is way more to come for us!

Would be interesting to see, this is my fastest lap in the Nissan GTR Gr.4 that didn't get a penalty and I cut huge chunks of the corner out by going over the kerbs.

Northern Isle is absolutely fantastic! It is such a nice little track. Frantic I would say. And the replay really makes it feel like a little arena.

See I was talking about the SR penalties though, I'd usually go in the red for using that much kerb. I guess I wasn't as clear on that as I should've been.

But that said, I also definitely remember getting time penalties in qualifying/time trial for cutting too far inwards on the chicanes with yellow markings in the infields. I'll still look into it when I have time.

Curb=legal trac. You are always with at least two tires on legal trac, so no reason for penalties imo.

I would be surprised if they penalised your SR if you hadn't gone off track. Here's a race where I used the kerbs more than @ghostrider135 without losing SR.

I know, that was my point, I was showing how much you can use the kerbs without getting a penalty.

Today was a very productive day. Mostly this is because I've realised I'm really, really good round Northern Isle Speedway.

Mind you, I can't help but think the 4C Group 3 helps a lot. So nimble it's basically perfect for me on a track it only needs 14.3 seconds to get round. Then again, I see people doing 14.2s over one lap, but I was so consistent over 20 laps that it didn't matter.

It also helps that I've finally got a 4WD car to stretch my legs in. I got the GT-R Group 4 on Saturday and it's fine round the Nurburgring. I wish I'd actually bothered to remember to play on Sunday, though. Coulda gotten something even better out of that.

Today's car was the SLS AMG GT3. I suspect I won't touch it until I can drive it somewhere other than Northern Isle.

My face when the game finally gives me an FR for Gr 4.

Had three races at Nordschleife Gr.4, think it's been like over half a decade since I last had a online race on that track and first time ever using a gamepad so took it easy in all three races, ended up with very similar race times. Gone up to C52 rating. :)

Looks as though Australia is exempt from this Beta. I guess I'll have to wait until the full game.
