Commonly, but wrongly (like 'could care less' and 'war on terror'). It has no place in professional communications and any half awake subeditor would have sent that back to the writer with a bollocking.

It's then written correctly in the very next sentence!
what the heck is "bollocking"?

Can't wait to hear from someone with experience in Assetto Corsa, what FFB is like.

I'm liking the idea of mileage based unlocks of cars. As long as it works out to getting whatever cars I want to drive in a reasonable amount of time. I have no interest in grinding.
You don't get any choice in which car you receive, so by what I think you meant, it would be considered grinding. But I'm excited to get access to new cars that I've never driven before, so every car is exciting!

Hmm I see. Maybe in the final game you'll be able to accrue miles instead of credits to cash in on cars. Eh who knows. Thanks for all the insights!

I don't know, quite like the sound of it, makes a nice change.

Suppose it gives you a goal to aim towards, especially if the seems the car you get is random. Quite like the excitement of gaining the miles to see what new car I'd get. But that's just me, just all giddy with excitement at it all ATM .

For those that haven't got the email, have you tried logging into your PS4? Streamer I'm watching said he didn't get an email, he just logged in and got the invite.

I haven't looked at my PS4 yet to see if I got an invite notification but my PS Plus subscription just expired and I'm wondering if this will affect whether I get the beta or not.

Sorry for double posting, but I just checked my notifications on my PS4 and I found out I didn't get invited to the closed beta. Is there any other way I can be able to play the beta?

I saw someone stream a GT Sport Closed Beta stream on Twitch. For someone who hasn't followed GT Sport closely, I seem fairly intrigued about it and what the final game could offer. Maybe I should look at it more than I have previously. Not to say I am not excited for it or anything, because I am.

Because you can't really how the game feels with DS4, or compare the Physics and handling to other sims.
That's not true. You can definitely tell and feel the difference from playing Project Cars, then switch to play Assetto Corsa using a controller. The only true thing that you can't do with using a controller, is use of manual gearbox, that's why I'm using automatic transmission. I have used a controller since mid 90s. And yes, I have tried using manual transmission with my controller, but I can't be competitive. The best racing game when using a controller is in fact GT6:)

My friend Luca Ceccatelli is back!!! :gtpflag::gtpflag:

Yeah, I said a friend, because I've actually found him in facebook! And added him as well! :D

And, yes, I could talk to him a few years ago, he even spoil to me a "new" GT song which I don't remember which one was... Anyway, he's a cool guy, and deserves another GT opportunity, and a Daiki Kasho duo! :D Specially with his band, Invago (who were the ones behind the song!

Funny that there's a beta with people streaming the whole thing (legally or not), and yet there's not really anything new. I would have thought that they'd at least chuck a little something in for people to build hype about, even just through the grapevine.
