Yeah it definitely does, just hope its done better than how the pp rating worked (didn't). Also found this:

I saw a few people discussing the hands; that the thumbs were on the wheel rim instead on through the wheel resting on the spokes (I'm sure that's how most of us drive) when I did a single seat experience at brands hatch, about 20 years ago, the instructors told us to never put our thumbs through the wheel as you could possibly break your thumbs if you had an accident. Not sure if this is a general rule in motorsports, I've never really seen racing driver with thumbs on the rim. The hands in game look a little awkward.

I still don't get why PD couldn't release this for everyone, like a normal developer (as a demo) and just limit the online races to say 100 players at the time... or just give us an offline demo I'd be so happy with it :indiff:
There's no reason I can see that they shouldn't. Even if it was just the one track and one car for everyone and a special version for those in the beta. The good PR that would provide after the horrendous PR of the last 10(?) years is a no brainier IMO.

Do the hands move the wheel to its full lock this time (not just 270 degrees or what ever it was), can you turn the hands and wheel off?

I've watched alot of the live streams yesterday, and the steering angle was still the same as in GT6.
And you cant turn off hands, I also seen how the guy went through all the available options.

option to change FOV & POV ?

sadly no.

My friend Luca Ceccatelli is back!!! :gtpflag::gtpflag:

Yeah, I said a friend, because I've actually found him in facebook! And added him as well! :D

And, yes, I could talk to him a few years ago, he even spoil to me a "new" GT song which I don't remember which one was... Anyway, he's a cool guy, and deserves another GT opportunity, and a Daiki Kasho duo! :D Specially with his band, Invago (who were the ones behind the song!

The "Take Control" song is in GT Sport aswell. Also wow, is he really recording a new song for GT Sport?

I hate the fact that the opponent exhaust is louder than the car he's driving and the transmission whine is too loud. There is an obvious sound mixing issues going on, PD should just give us sound sliders instead.

Of course the exhaust will be LOUD, I had a ferrari on the road drive by me in my car, i was nearly deafened when he accelerated, couldn't hear my own car ...

If this closed beta requires an NDA why are people sharing their videos?

They're allowed to stream with under circumstances they only stream using PS4 Share function. It is been mentioned in one of the stream videos. I don't know what exactly will happen if you stream illegally, probably possible ban in the future Playstation beta/events or just simply banned account for certain amount of time.

But in this case, the video depicts a 458 GT3 which is probably as ear deafening as other GT3 cars. I get your point though. :cheers:

We really need a volume slider/mixer. We're still on beta anyways, right?

The only people that talked about the NDA where the people that DIDN'T have the beta :confused:
As per the blog announcement:
And that looks like this:
2. License. When you install the Beta Product, SIEA grants to you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Beta Product for personal use on your PlayStation® system for which the Beta Product was designed (e.g., PlayStation®4 system, PlayStation®3 system, PlayStation®Vita system). For PlayStation4 Beta Products only, SIEA also grants to you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Share button to replicate or stream the Beta Product’s audio and video output to third-party services supported by the PlayStation4 system where the Beta Product permits use of the Share button and where SIEA has the rights to permit you to record, edit and share the Beta Product’s content. This limited, non-exclusive license includes recording portions of the Beta Product’s content to the PlayStation®4 system and to use that system’s tools to edit those recordings. SIEA reserves all rights in the Beta Product not explicitly granted to you in this license, including rights to all intellectual property contained in the Beta Product. This license does not include the right to, and you agree not to (a) rent, lease or sublicense the Beta Product or make it available on a network to other users; (b) modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Beta Product; (c) create derivative works from the Beta Product; or (d) copy, publicly perform or broadcast the Beta Product in an unauthorized manner.
So livestreaming it with the Share function is just fine.

However, it also says this:

5. Confidential Nature of the Beta Product. You acknowledge that:

(a) The Beta Product and any information regarding your use of the Beta Product, whether shared with SIEA or not, is SIEA’s confidential information. You may use the Beta Product only in your home solely for the purpose of testing the Beta Product, and you will not transfer, distribute or disclose any materials, User Material, or any information in connection with the Beta Product to any third party, including through a public exhibition or display. You may not discuss your experience with the Beta Product with third parties or publish or disseminate information about those experiences;

(b) the Beta Product is not thoroughly tested and includes pre-release materials that are not intended for public release;

(c) the features provided in the Beta Product may not be available in the final release;

(d) disclosure of any part of the Beta Product, User Material or your experiences using the Beta Product to any third party, including any trade or consumer press, news agency or any competitor of SIEA, will cause significant and irreparable harm to SIEA, the extent of which may be difficult to ascertain. Accordingly, SIEA is entitled to injunctive relief as well as all other legal remedies that may be available if you breach this Agreement.
Which means you can quite happily livestream it, but not talk about your impressions of it while you do.

Fun, isn't it?
