For anyone testing the game:

Does GTS, at this stage, feel like or bring back the feeling of GT1? Is this really a new chapter for Gran Turismo?

I am glad to see the beta brings back a positive vibe! Even if the footage is the same, the streamers do a nice job of sharing decent info. I critisized pd many times because of their lack of communication but with the beta released I am happy to see the progress they made 👍

Just assign a good community manager PD!

I'm not sure if this was seen yet

So their netcode is still junk. I'm not super surprised, but I hope they take this opportunity to improve it. If the game is primarily online then the netcode needs to be rock solid. It also needs to deal gracefully with variable or high pings, not throw the cars all over the track and make it unplayable for everyone.

All the online races I've watched from the beta suffered by the same problems GT5 and GT6 had. The glitchy sound of the opponent cars, aswell as floaty looking cars twiching around the course...

while driving? in gt6?

The RA (Real-time Adjustment) Function
The Wireless Controller allows you to change various driving options and settings while you race. This is known as the "RA (real-time adjustment) function". To use the RA function, go to Options -> Wireless Controller -> Configure Controls (Player 1/2), then assign the RA function to your preferred button. The following settings can be changed using the RA function:

  • Traction Control
  • Center Differential Torque Distribution
  • Active Stability Management (ASM)
  • ABS
  • Front Brake Balance
  • Rear Brake Balance

Are you serious! How did I not know about this?!

All ? Can you show it to us?

Because, all races I saw, the majority was running well.

I dont want to post all the online races, just see how the cars behave mainly twitching on the front wheels from left to right basicially in every race! Best to see on the start of the race.

Start watching at 36 min and watch the cars in front of him, all twitching. Especially that Scirocco
and later on aswell as they enter the second turn they all twich like on ice.

That sparks...

As much as i don't think that graphics should be the primary feature for video games, i do think however that this game looks awesome .

That is the lord and savior, yes.
I feel bad for @Jordan and others who have to suffer from bad drivers.

I guess PD made a wise choice by not choosing my account or otherwise, this would happened.

It's worrying for me since my internet is a bit awful even after i went for a fiber package. I remember P2P in GT6 was terrible for me even when i play with someone in my region. Disconnection after disconnection and players being invisible...etc.
If Sport mode have actual servers then please i hope they would improve it and provide it all around the world instead of just putting in the 3 major markets (US, Europe and Japan) and screwing the rest of the world.

How long with the beta last btw?
