However on a personal note the Vision GT cars do nothing at all for me.
Even that legit looking Toyota thing?

No, not that. Obviously, that one is in there. But the OTHER campaign mode. The one with spaceships.Let's keep it to the facts, please. I see both campaign and arcade modes in the menu for single player content.
The reason PD decided to remove the feature was because people were becoming too reliant on the racing line and weren't properly learning the track, and as soon as you took it away they would loose all their speed. The new system is supposedly design so that people don't become to reliant on it.I'm not as hardcore as most of you. I play on a more casual level to have a good time. I am not focused on being the fastest in a TT in the world. That being said, I hope the racing lines (especially the braking markers) make it into the finished product. The flag markers in GTS are ok, but the racing lines were more helpful. Overall, I think the game is a marketed improvement over GT6. The sounds are better. The physics feel more realistic (to me at least). I'm looking forward to career mode on the full release.
Here are some clips of competitively good racing I uploaded.
That one's kind of a half-way house, as its a concept of something they are going to build (and its not powered by magic as some of the VGT cars have been).Even that legit looking Toyota thing?
I have to say I absolutely love the Group 3 cars like the Impreza, Lancer and F Type, outs me in mind of the CRX and FTO LM's and all the other LM vehicles that have been in GT games from the start. The Vision GT cars are a little different, I tend to like them all for what they are but some are not suited for the group they are racing in, like the Peugeot and the Golf.
at least in GT you don't get punted off at first chance by the AI.

The campaign mode is nothing more than driver training exercises, much like license tests from previous games. That's hardly a single player campaign, so yes, lets stick to facts.Let's keep it to the facts, please. I see both campaign and arcade modes in the menu for single player content.
wow you really played the game? what else can you tell us?The campaign mode is nothing more than driver training exercises, much like license tests from previous games. That's hardly a single player campaign, so yes, lets stick to facts.
I would imagine the use of the word single player is getting mixed up with it just meaning the campaign.

No, but this is information that they have given us early last year. Nothing else has been noted of it, so Im going of the facts for now. If it changes than the facts change, but as it sits, that's been known.wow you really played the game? what else can you tell us?
You realize tires make noise right? From what I've experienced on the track, tire screeches are very audible to me from the inside of the car on many corners.Damnit. The endless tyre screeches are still there. Let alone how I've forgotten how irritating those beeps are on every sector and new time.
It doesn't look sim at all. :/
i dont get the hate either its like they have never driven a car real fastYou realize tires make noise right? From what I've experienced on the track, tire screeches are very audible to me from the inside of the car on many corners.

http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gtsport/driving/I think you need to read up on the meaning of the word fact and it's plural, only then will you grasp how to stick to them.

What did the driver ratings climb up to last night for the people who started Tuesday night? Have you faster guys gotten into competition with any of the earlier beta testers? I imagine their ratings could be really high by now.Okay Jordan I see you. Good Luck!

Yes, when you drive fast with a street car and tires. But not on slick tires and race cars. If you here tire screech during a race irl, it often means that a car spun/is sliding.
Seriously? What I'm saying is hate... Seriously?
It doesn't look sim at all. :/
No interpretation here. This has already been shown in a presentation sometime back. So, facts are what is being discussed. I'm unsure of where you're coming from.Exactly my point. Those are hard facts as of right now, not an interpretation of the facts with assumption thrown in for good measure.
At the top of each lesson there is a little thing saying either "training" with a little steering wheel icon or "video".
This covers 10 bases of what you need to know about racing, I can't tell if they are just plaques, videos, or small training missions.
