You get them from completing daily milestones, known as Daily Workouts.
That's how THIS game should be. Why not learn to drive and get some nice rewards? It's grinding without the fuss of Cr.

So testers get the same car over and over for completing the same race or is it random?

Almost like license tests but not so quite

Is anyone else concerned by the reports of DC's?

For me GT6 died a sad death primarily in fact uniquely because of its connectivity issues which were present from GT5 and only managed to get worse in GT6.

Ive participated in many betas where disconnections were never a thing, my household is bandwidth hungry and so i pay for a internet connection that eliminates this issue, my PS4 is hard wired and outside of the DMZ etc but still GT6 became broke for me online to the point I gave up.

Yes this is an early beta, closed in fact, limited to a few, from a localised (ish) area, to stress test, but I'd argue that this closed beta under its limited restricted test already suffering DC's is far far from being able to cope with the load that is yet to come not just from an open beta but from a full release is a long way off from being ready.

Paying a subscription to play games online and then not being able to play it is unacceptable.

The reports of DC's in this thread are more concerning than how a tree looks, or how damage is modelled, or any other minor technical detail of physics, tyre model etc.

I mean if offline play is as challenging as racing my 3 year old, and online play has multiple DC's resulting in smaller and smaller grids, what does the game have?

The whole point of this beta is to stress their systems. So disconnects now are not an issue, as long as they use the data gathered to fix the issue for release.

Not denying this as a fact, but until a full open beta is being assessed any data collected is largely redundant.

Well minus the cheaters I feel pretty good

Playing with the Jaguar, with Racing Super Softs. Still trying to get the hang of the controller. Also, is there a way to check what tires your opponents have on? I'm curious if they change out tires to match yours, or if they are stuck on Racing Hards.

Is it Pro or Standart PS4?

Yeeeah, i have this too!
It says - PS Plus subscribers will have this access first.
Me too.

I hate to sound nit-picky, but it doesn't really say that.
Here's the quote :
"Be among the first to experience a true racing revolution. As a PS Plus member you could get early access to the beta trial"

👍

Not sure if russian version differs in content but the french equivalent of this upcoming PS+ April goodies is a lot more evasive. Suggesting PSN+ subscription could provide you priority access to the game's beta. Devils being in the details make sure you are assured a beta key before opening the wallet…

oops

Oh, sorry sorry. Yeah, you right. I mean early access to beta (and in Eu... not US -( ). But it makes me me happy too =)

Indeed.

The recent large influx of US invites suggests to me they are pushing towards the end of this phase.
So that news item in reference to the PS Plus update early next week sounds very promising to me too. :)

Someone on GAF was sharing your sentiments, that's what the beta is for though so hopefully they improve.
