Yeah, I know what you are saying and agree to a certain extent. However, if they had given a more precise date at least we would know when they feel that it may be ready. At the moment we have nothing to go on. Could be 4 months from now or 15 months from now.

The lack of new news/info for almost all GT gamers is painful and disturbing...... hahaha:lol: but we should have know that with regards to Kaz and his gang
(I guess someone must have feel the after-pain of having too many real-life car and racing events, now he is rushing back to virtual-life)

Secret is out now:lol:. You realize that the opinion of a "fanboy", in reference to the game he loves, can't be trusted right? That's the very heart of fanboyism.
Is like as if you are from the fanboy of the other franchise and you feel refreshed to bash unconstructively here. Imagine that recently banned member in this thread, keeping the attitude toward certain franchise, only he told it on a Forza Forums.

In short, you can be as much of a fanboy as you can. Just dont be deluded about it.

Isn't this the exact reason they're not giving one right now? ;)

So you mean Sony is not trusting PD?;):D

Actually i am talking in the perspective of gamers, how they view/think if PD is giving another release date? Completely believe in it or not? From what i see about this current delay, there is an equal fair share of pple in either camps...... some r prepared given past experiences...

The very definition of fanboy means you are deluded and can't think clearly when it comes to your favourite game:lol:

IMO, a huge delay is not enough for cancelling the pre-orders. It doesn't make sense to cancel them and all the potential copies just for a "few" months. Very risky move from Sony because some won't pre order it again. I think the project must has changed. (Please be GT7)

You have a point indeed. Why lose all the Preorders just for a delay?

Theres "fanboys". And there's "fundamentalist fanboys".

What about chocolate fanboys with a peanut butter centre? They're my favourite. ;)

Because it's probably going to be a big delay. You're right, they wouldn't do it if it was going to be out in February. They probably would if it's going to be out November 2017.

Could be a change of pre-order bonus or adding new stuff or could be a change of policy.

The fanboys are taking more L's than Meek.

I have doubts about the game coming out early next year too.

This is not like GT5's October 2010 delay where we got a more specific time period for when it would come out ("this holiday season") and Sony quickly announcing a new release date would be coming. I don't recall hearing about GT5 pre-orders being cancelled by Sony either. For GTS, there is much more silence in comparison.

Can't help but think that the feedback Sony was getting required a pause, maybe a reworking of the direction of the game and a new title, pure assumption on my part.

Perhaps a partial re-focusing of the game too, enough that it's different enough from the original concept that they figured they couldn't keep the pre-orders in good faith.

That would be hilarious.

"Hey, we've been making this for three years but we didn't like it so we're gonna do something different. See you in 2020."

If people support the games with rave reviews and extensive marketing those games should be more prominent as a commercial success especially the Forza games with those marketing budgets. It simply can't live up to the hype in my opinion.

At this point PD has had 4 years to work on one game(If you include the Spring 2017 date). Meanwhile.... It'll take a lot of reasoning for me to buy a PS4 at this point.

It would have to be 2020. From what we have seen so far there is not much 'game'. If they have taken this long to produce relatively little it's going to take them an awful long time to add to the game and do it properly. If they are planning to add to the game and hit a 2017 release I can see the game being a hodgepodge of different ideas and it will all be a mess again. How do they continue to get themselves in this situation? Mismanagement of the highest order.

Yeah totally, it is mismanagement.

Why is it that i can see PD making a 20th anniversary edition of GT Sport next year similar to GT6's 15 year celebrations? Are we going to get more content or is this just a massive bug clean-up?

Well i must be the only one ho think that the delay is just to finish the game and achieve the solid minimum 60 Fps needed for the PSVR.

I don't think there will be any "extra" content.

The delay didn't even surprised me..but it's beginning to become a real shame.. Cause the first competence of the GT series (forza) got already 4 really good games on the "new generation consoles".

Hopefully PD makes the best GT ever to demonstrate that the await was worth! (personally and after GT5 & 6 really doubt it)

A few months ago I said here Kaz needs to be replaced and I got much critics for it. Now a lot more people think like this.

I wonder what needs to happen until the rest realizes that this is a never ending story with Kaz Fails?
I guess some GT Fans still are dreaming the 90's Moon over the castle romantic Movie with Kaz the God of all cars. This time is over since years, when do people finally start to accept it?

Kaz needs to be replaced by a younger guy who knows whats going on in this generation, not like Kaz who gives us a damn Toyota Aqua Premium while we still have no Supra or 2000 GT Premium.

I loved the series and played every part of it. Especially GT2, GT4, GT5, GT6 for thousands of hours. But i'm done with these PD clowns. Even if I buy GTS, this will be the last one. The time is over thanks to Kaz.

I agree

BTW, I'm waiting for @Zlork to tell us exactly what will happen

It says on the official site : they need more time to perfect GT Sport.

Delay was a bad news for us. But we must move forward. Let them work, GT Sport will come out when it will be ready.

There are plenty of games that are coming out to wait.

@B.K Well there are indeed alot of strange decisions made, aswell as basic gameplay features which are missing make no kind of sense to me. One of the biggest and ironicly such a small thing to implement as example. I wonder until today for why they put so much afford in modeling the Premium cars in GT5/6 when they make only sense somewise in Photomode. And even there you couldnt even enter officially the cockpits. Why cant you look up and down in cockpit to see the details made everywhere? Why in chaseview can't you even rotate the camera around your premium car to see it in movement in all its beauty. Such a small thing which always bothers me so much. I put some cool rims and lower my car and cant even see it during gameplay since I am forced to watch it from behind.
Just one of many small things I simply cant understand personally.
