I am happy to see the Mercedes AMG GTS GT3, the Ford Focus rally car, and the long list of group 4 cars, as I was looking forward to racing those cars at release. I just have one question though, the master car list has a Dodge Viper GT3-R on the list. Where in the trailer was that car? I went through the trailer frame by frame, and I did not see it. If someone has seen it, could you please post the picture in this thread. Thanks. Also, am I the only person who wants to see a Lamborghini Hurracan GT3. PD, please make that happen!

For some reason it was only in the livestream trailer that was a minute long. In the full length version it was replaced with another car.

I think Poly should know its priorities. Sometimes taking shortcuts is smarter than a whole year of delay. Forza 6 is a good illustration IMO. Sure, there is not the same level of details when you compare Bathurst in GT6 and Forza 5/6 but do we need this ridiculous level? I don't think so. When Forza 6 is a solid 60fps game, where is GTSport?
Look at the level of detail on the white wall, does it make a good game or the track more enjoyable?

I'd like to know PD's process for what gets prioritised, included, and what influence the end users actually have. Going by trends on forums, a surprising number of people seem more interested in the superficial qualities rather than the core ones.

...(continued from GT trailer thread) GTS is essentially being made & delayed, for a tv screen that does not exist.

Eye candy, and the few remaining fans love it + it sells, so why bother with anything else.

I've been a PS/GT customer since PS2. I've been playing GT6 once a week, for the past 4 years. I play no other games with PS. I love GT6 and its outdated graphics. I just love driving on various tracks with some of my favorite cars digitally. But it's getting old especially the fact that the each load takes such a long time just to get a time trial run. In October I was about to upgrade to PS4 for the GT Sport but now I'm sick of this delay and unknown release date plus the fact it won't fully support VR is a big let down. It seems like I'd only play GTS with the brand new PS4 and will have to buy new PS5 for a future GT game.

I think it's time for me to move on to Xbox One. So far, there is Forza 6 and Forza Horizon 3. There are already 2 titles that I can play with Xbox One. Xbox One is backward compatible so I can play older Forza games if I choose to. And I'm sure they will release Forza 7 before they introduce a new Xbox console in the future. I'm a big BMW and Porsche guy. It looks like Forza 6 has a deep list of new and old BMWs and the Porsche DLC pack, versus GTSport will get no Porsche, and only a couple BMWs.

Big let down by PD.

Does anyone think I should still wait for GTS and stay with PS family?

Forza is a great alternative on Xbox one, you should go for it. However, it's another vibe. To each his own.
By the way, I don't want to sound rude, but "family"?!

I don't understand why go to all this trouble having a photo mode it's a racing game not bloody photo shop i want to race not put cars on stupid back grounds

Not quite true. While XB1 is backwards compatible, it's on select titles. Horizon 1 became a BC title earlier this year... but was then scrubbed from the Marketplace a month or so later (probably due to expired licenses). As is, no Motorsport X360 titles can be played on the One.

And I'm sure they will release Forza 7 before they introduce a new Xbox console in the future.

Actually, plenty of people in the community are reasonably sure FM7 will be a Project Scorpio launch title (think PS4 -> PS4 Pro move, but more powerful).

I'm a big BMW and Porsche guy. It looks like Forza 6 has a deep list of new and old BMWs and the Porsche DLC pack, versus GTSport will get no Porsche, and only a couple BMWs.

Strictly speaking, we don't know if Porsche will be coming to GT Sport yet.

Though yeah, if there's only 140 cars in the base game (and they're mostly sorted into PD-designed classes), Forza's car list will offer substantially more variety. It already has the best selection of cars on this generation, IMO.

Who cares what other people think. If you can't have both consoles, weigh out the pros and cons of each and make the decision based on your priorities, not anybody else's. But remember that everything is known for 3 of the 4 Forza titles on XB1 already (there's still 8 or so months of post-launch support for FH3): there are a lot of unanswered aspects of GT Sport, that makes a direct comparison almost impossible.

You can save up just a *LITTLE* bit more and build yourself a gaming PC, which would give you access to not only the Forza franchise, but a whole boatload of games as well. It's the smart thing to do broski.

Daytona USA
Daytona 2
Scud Race
OutRun 2
F-Zero GX
Sega Rally Championship
Ridge Racer 1-5
Pole Position 1&2
Night Driver
Turbo
OutRun
Hard Drivin'
Stunt Car racer
Lotus Esprit Challenge

....and much MUCH more!!!! All these can be played on PC and they all run great termingni! Seriously....don't bother with the XboxWon....you'll get much more enjoyable mileage out of a gaming PC bro.

Kaz is creative, he likes photography aswell, so do many millions of other users, I love it and cannot wait for the new photomode. Just check the photomode galleries on here, many many people love photomodes in games.

Yea i don't understand why Kaz goes threw all the trouble of giving the player a optional feature (Bad Kaz Bad) But for people like me and i'm sure many others here who love taking pictures Photo Mode is more than a welcome addition.

I have to doubt the part about so do millions of other users. It is probably a tiny number who like photography in the virtual world. I like photomode too but It's worthless to me if the game itself doesn't entice to load it up just like GT6 failed to do. The problem here is that it seams photomode is their main focus. Photomode seams to be to Gran Turismo Sport what "moon and correct constellation" was to GT6, only that was a complete waste of time.

Forza is on pc now too.

Could they have possibly said "2017" so that they don't have another deadline to delay in the case of another delay?

That would definitely be avoiding another backlash if they were to announce say March 2017 and then didn't make it again...
