I think that is very interesting that GAME have removed it. I'll email them, see what they say, but this could be the first sign of the game changing name/scope IMO.

As a theory, very interesting but they have build so much on the new brand so the name change won't happen.

How could you know that for sure? I mean it could just be a small change to Gran Turismo 7: Sport or something.

This page is still active, although not on the store so could be an old link. It says TBC-2017 Edit: although it does let you add it to basket and buy it (didn't go any further :sly:)

Of course I don't know that. It just that Kaz mentioned GTS being as important as GT1 a while ago (or something along those lines. Sorry, I don't have a link to the phrase). So based on that they may want to drop the number off of the title. <- I mean as a new start.

Yeah he said GT1-6 was "last gen" GT and now with Sport, GT has evolved into a new gen but still is very "Gran Turismo" with basic roots to GT1.

Why not? Too big to fail doesn't work with videogame studios.

Driveclub sales were around 2 million the last time I checked, and GT6 physical copy sales are hanging around 5 million.

Evolution studio's games never really raked in the dough, I don't think.

It could start with a smaller budget then a mobile game, many DLCs... Even if GT is loved by many, since PS3 the "fun" is missing from Gt (camera view, soundtrack, original tracks, career structure...)

They're still lucrative when they actually release something but Sony could always decide they want something in a speedier manner.

The GTS website introduces us to 4 of the latest production cars.

'13 LaFerrari

'15 MX-5

'15 AMG GT

'15 Mustang GT

Those cars are in the used car market today. :(
